This app is an automatic file sync and backup tool. It lets you automatically synchronize files and folders with Google Drive cloud storage and with your other devices. It is an ideal tool for photo sync, document and file backup, automatic file transfer, automatic file sharing between devices,...

New files in your cloud account are automatically downloaded onto your device. New files in your device are uploaded. If you delete a file on one side, it will be deleted on the other side. It works across multiple devices (your phone and your tablet). If their folders are synced with the same cloud account, they will be kept in sync with each other.

This is how Google Drive works on computers but not on Android. Two-way automatic synchronization should be an essential function of the official app. For whatever reason, it is not the case. Autosync for Google Drive is here to fill the gap.

Fantastic app! Works perfectly every time. both free and paid versions are worth it. very clear UI and lots of customization options. I even like the documentation, but would recommend that there be more beginner friendly options for file and folder inclusion/exclusion while syncing, because the current method relies on extension matching regex, with like comma separated values which can easily introduce errors.

This used to be a great app. Judging by the lack or response, this seems like an abandoned project. Issues w/ Automatically syncing (even w/ Tasker) and Android ALWAYS wants to re-enable Battery Optimization, despite my best efforts. This might have something to do t w/ the confusing name change (AutoSync or DriveSync?) No issues whatsoever w/ Dropsync!!

I love this app, it provides a function that should already exist in "drive". But for over a month now the app is telling me to turn off battery optimization because it can't work in the background. I've done everything under the sun to give it the permission it needs. I turned off battery optimization completely, I gave it direct permission to operate in the background and many other settings that I thought might be causing the issue. And still it yells at me evertime I leave wifi. Pixel 7 pro.

Good app. Upgraded to pro within the first 10 minutes. User experience is great, and provides plenty of options for power users. Note to author: Would like an option where I can temporarily have files uploaded to a select folder, for say 1 hour, 4 hours, etc, then switch back. Good for work related things, or attending events where you want it sorted into its own folder.

I installed this app to keep my obsidian vaults synced with Google Drive. It's only been a day and, while I was taking notes, the sync started and I lost an entire note. When I looked at the logs it said it had an error while uploading a file. Google Drive complained that the size auto sync told it would be was different than what was uploaded. I suspect that when it started a sync it grabbed the old file size and when it tried uploading it it grabbed the new version of the file. IDK. Not happy.

Two major problems: First, this app only works if I disable IPv6 on my local network. Second, the app is giving me an error with every sync attempt after various number of uploads, it reads, "500 Internal Server Error". I figured out a solution to the first problem after tinkering with it for the past couple of days. All other apps and programs that interact with my Google Drive account work fine when IPv6 is enabled, including rclone and Google Backup & Sync on a couple of computers. And even the Google Drive app on my phone works fine. So it seems that this app has a bug that paralyzes it after the first run or two on IPv6. The second issue is bothersome, I'd like it to auto retry after receiving the "500 Internal Server Error" rather than failing. I'll update this review if something else comes up. FYI - VPN and Pi-Hole were disabled while I was figuring this out. Of course, there might be a configuration issue with IPv6 on my system, but everything else works great with it on. I'm using DD-WRT on my router. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S10+ with Android 11, stock install.

very good. no, amazing! must have, esp if you have a Chromebook because even though they say everything is backed up, it's not! same with your phone... if you have VZW, your downloaded voicemails (Visual Voicemail directory) is not backed up to the cloud... if you trash your phone or reset it, bye bye unsaved files :-) I got bit by that once so I purchased the pro version of this app and it's worth every penny!

Update: first doing restore to my new phone of all the folders is not easy. need to create the folder by doing backupnt on the new phone to create the folder itself. then it found ithe file I placed and it didn't work at all, wrote successfull but not so, I have none of my configuration. The sync itself is Absolutely wonderful!!! The sync options are very rich, it works great, just make sure the autosync is on for detecting changes in real time to avoid a mess👍😁
