Able To was offered to me through my health insurance company. it is a mindfulness app to go along with an 8 week mindfulness-by-phone course. I think it is a lot like 'Calm", but free. if you are open to changing part of your life, this is a very useful adjunct. it is free and governed by privacy laws. I found it useful even though I usually eschew navel-gazing. it really does help to just breathe sometimes. only negative is because of privacy concerns, they insist you have screen lock.

App is buggy. Fails to work periodically and fails to let you log in quite often. Doesn't recognize my password even though I know it's right. Can't sign the treatment plan online and no response from the ableto help email when I ask for support. Someone here has no idea what they're doing, and it's not me.

I can't even log in or make an account. Everytime I try it either asks for credit card info, thinks I'm a therapist looking for a job, or asks for some "Access code" I can't find. I've tried looking up what I'm supposed to do, I've tried contacting support, nothing is working! I miss Sanvello.. I don't understand why it was taken away.. I don't wish things like this often but to whoever is responsible for Sanvello being replaced, I hope your life becomes just as much of a struggle as mine is.

I had a last minute trip out of country. Due to the time difference from my phone and my appointment, it would not let me reschedule my appointment despite it being >24 hours before. Then I couldn't join my meeting despite joining at the correct time because it thought it was the time of my location instead of meeting time. There was no way to message my therapist through the app, I could not call the company number to reschedule. I was dropped as a patient for missing one appt despite progress.

I was forced to switch to this app from Sanvello. All the tools like the habit tracker and journal were implemented so much better in Sanvello. I really miss the slider option in the habit tracker. It feels so much worse to have to click into a habit and then click through or type in whatever number. Sanvello also had the option to make custom word ranking for habits so you could record things qualitatively. Overall it's a major downgrade and I will look for another app for all those tools.

Started using this app with a program through my insurance plan at no additional cost and I really like the simplicity of the app and the features on it. There are a variety of resources, including articles, psychoeducation, meditations, mindfulness and breathing exercises, mood and habit trackers, and more.
