varying sound levels, some words are clear, some too loud, others muffled. not a great experience.

Some of the images are hard to recognize. for example, the word for "location" or "near" or "map" have very similar looking icons, so it was confusing in that way. But for the most part, this is a good app to start as a beginning and I really love the idea of concetrating for 5 minutes a day to improve your language skills.

Its kind of fun and easy to understand, but you need premium access to do alot of stuff it seems. Only just starting also, I saw how random the words were. There was no rhyme or reason. I have been doing Norwegian on Duolingo for a while and sought out another option to further the learning, but i don't feel challenged with this app either. I think its good if you are interested in learning Norwegian, but maybe not as a commitment.

Im using drops for Norwegian and my biggest gripe is not including some indication one whether the word is masculine, feminine, or neuter. Even if you added en/et/ei or just an indicator, that would be better! In languages where gendered words matter it's really important to teach that, not just the word itself assuming the learner is coming from English. Otherwise, the app is great alongside Duolingo or other apps like it to build vocabulary if you don't have any reading material or etc!

a very good app, good job! There is indeed a problem with the gender of the nouns. It can be counterproductive to learn a word and then to have to relearn the genders. Would be great if the developers found the way to add it. I have a suggestion: just add another category like essentials where the user needs to chose the article for the already learned nouns. The same idea can be applied to verbs (past tense of irregular verbs) and verb endings (not relevant for Norwegian tho). Good luck!

Update April 13, 2022: The latest update made learning more difficult. You are constantly getting interupted with noises and "5 word streak" etc. Please remove. I don't need to know how I've done throughout the session. Just let me learn the words without interuption. There is a lot of delay and hang ups and the program no longer works smoothly. Gets more glitchy with each update. I'd rather have a simpler program that works smoothly then all the additions you've made in the last few years.

Mostly polished app with a couple of odd quirks: 1. On the "choose from 4 options" match, the bottom right option is brighter white, looks sort of like it has been bolded. 2. On the "bubble" style matching, the other bubbles move around after one is tapped meaning that subsequent taps miss their targets. Not normally a big issue but it interferes and slows things down when you are trying to be speedy.

First 5 minutes using app. Fun, quick and intuitive. Already have learned several words that I am eager to share with a new friend from Norway. 29/08 Have used this app for several days so far. Missed a day yesterday and so disappointed in myself. Would not have thought learning Norwegian, would have been engaging or fun. Using the free version, not sure if a review of words covered in previous sessions, (without pictures of course), prior to a new session is available on premium version or not.
