Free version is good when you want to learn slowly but surely ! The restrictions aren't about the content, but the time to learn them : only 5 min per 10h.. sound a bit short, it is, but in my opinion it gives you a sort of little addiction. So you want to learn again the next day. It prioritize your regularity of learning (some say that the key for languages) than a lot of informations that you don't memorize ! (maybe the library of word should be in the free version ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ kinda annoying)

Great design. Super reactive. Addictive. The 5-minute sessions are really easy to fit in my schedule. Maybe it would be a good idea to introduce more grammar, I mean more full sentences. But this can be done with other meanings, so actually Drops makes perfectly what I was looking for: learning more vocabulary. And it's way more efficient than more traditional learning methods for vocabulary.

Timer reduced to just 3 minutes!!! Bring back the 5 minutes a day! As of today, the full free timer is for only 3 minutes, just a little over half the time you used to be able to do for free. Really lame if this is a way to try to push people to get premium. There are many other Russian apps to use, so I'll just stick with the pitiful 3 minutes. Real downgrade to the app. Not going to recommend to others going forward after this timer downgrade.

the app is very useful to learning russian. my advice for users, choose more time at the sign up. Because after that you donʼt change that, after the specified time, the application will become paid, you will not be able to do it for free. App is very interesting.

Really love this concept so far! vocabulary can be the hardest part of becoming fluent, and is easy to forget. However, I wish the app had some sort of assessment to measure what knowledge you already have. Sometimes "beginner" and "intermediate" are not specific enough. Overall the app is quite helpful though.

This is a great app. I have learned so much more vocabulary using this app over other apps. Is it an all in one solution? No. Can it get you speaking and understanding quickly? Yes. Is it fun? Yes. I started with the free version and then upgraded to the yearly. This allowed me to do several small sessions a day. I usually do 8-10 five minute sessions throughout the day. My only complaint is that I wish there was a discount if you already purchased a year.

This app is the best app for languages. With other Russian apps the automated voices sound very strange. With drops it sound like it has been recorded with a real person and makes listening to the voice a lot less awkward. The only 2 complaints i have is that i don't like waiting 9 hours for the next time i can learn more Russian. I also want the spelling back in the original text like actual Russian letters instead of English words cramed to make Russian words. Overall i really love it

Love this app! But... The "Collection". (to see the words you're working on) sucks. It takes forever to load. After it loads, it's super laggy. There's an option where you can hide a word so you don't practice it anymore. I love this option but it rarely works because this part of the app is too slow. 5 stars if this was fixed. The actual practice\learning part of the app is cool though. I paid for a year subscription. I am definitely building my vocabulary! This app is a daily habit of mine.
