What it doesn't say is that it requires an IR blaster (infrared blaster) to already be on your phone, like with most remote control apps. This is a device that emulates an infrared remote control to autonomously control a device via infrared signal. If you have an newer phone this app likely won't work, because newer phones no longer come with the IR blasters. If your device is "smart" equipped look for an option to control your device via Wi-Fi. If not, look for a universal remote around $10

As it's my very first controller app to connect with another device I can't compare it to anything else but for the limited time I've used this app I've had no problems with configuration or working out how its used . I was surprised how quick it was connected after I opened the app followed by selecting the brand name then search the first attempt recognised the device (Blu-ray /DVD) while on to turn it to standby I turned it back on and saved .I'm amazed cheers

Sorry doesn't work on my phone (it didn't have certain features) - so I can't give you a 'bad' or 'good' review so I.m going down the middle a 3! Better than nothing, I say .... Since I did select your app to download (from all the other apps in the same category as you) ... That's saying something! Your write up / information about your app was great!

Easy to navigate and find the correct brand and it's trial and error on which version of that brand is. Fortunately the one I needed was the second option I tried. Does what I needed, turned blu Ray off and on, paused and stopped BUT if I paused and wanted to play again the app remote wouldn't work. Had to use the play on the blu-Ray player to get it back on. Other than that couldn't find a fault in first time use.

By far one of the best universal remote apps I've come across. The only reason for the 4 star rating and not a 5 star is due to not being able to find or pair up the tv/bluray player i have in a less popular name. A DIY button layout on your compatible remote would also come in handy so you only have the buttons you need and use. Besides that I think this app is fantastic.

I travel all over for work. I basically live in hotels and the one thing i need is my movies before bed & yet another long work day. I forgot my remote and my player (like most) can't get to the menu without one. This app saved my trip & sanity.

Worthless, no good description how to use, pressing and hold not working, press once and jumps to the next screen saying device not supported. For each try you must watch advertisement. Stay away! It doesn't work.

You have to go through each one to find which one works this is not explained , so if first one dont work just hit no it will advance you to next one . Mine was Sony 11, so watch the top of your screen before you think its not working until you find the.one that works for all your functions not just on and off they all may turn it on check for play or FF if that dont work hit no that will advance you to the next untill you can play ,other than that i'd give it a 5
