Sample rate is a little slow, it should be adjustable. In order to use a cellphone magnetometer to identify magnetic anomalies you really need a good graphical output, using whole, absolute numbers is not going to be able to locate an iron pipe 12" down. Apps like phyphox and physics toolbox give rather more detailed graphical output which can reliably detect changes in the field at below a micro Tesla which is the range required to meaningfully detect objects at depth.

Definitely don't want to buy any jewelry basically on this thing. It it cannot tell the difference a rusty bucket and a golden chalice .. it says everything is gold. if it locks my phone screen one more time with an advertisement notification and I cannot make a call it will be deleted
