I was hopeful... But ended up disappointed. I thought this would be a good replacement for overpriced and problematic Evernote account I've had for years, but MS lived up to past experiences and flopped again. I went through the sign-up process & after only having one note uploaded (hence the name) , I have been blocked out of my account. After 30 minutes of screwing around to resolve the issue, I said the heck with this. At least where I am now I don't have to transfer my files to get screwed.

Good notes app, about as close as it gets to Apple notes for Android. Love that I can use markdown, group notes, attach files, share and export. Needs to be more stable (occasional crash) and the search option needs to let you search for each instance of search terms instead of just highlighting them. Also would be nice to linkify phone numbers like it does for url's.

OneNote has been my note taking app of choice for almost 10 years. I left Evernote when the subscription started. OneNote may seem "old fashioned" when compared to Notion or Obsidian, but it's an easy program to learn and offers tons and tons of features without having to pay extra to unlock any. I've tried other note taking apps, but I always go back to OneNote after a week, or even a day! I do wish they'd update it more often, though.

I love the app. the browser version but the desktop app is absolutely horrible. it's cumbersome to switch between notebooks. but mostly. the software constantly complain about needing an update. but it's incredibly annoying process to update. and once it's finally updated.. the program doesn't know the update happened. so it's all in vain. the app for mobile is nice though.

Its not as good as Samsung Notes, but its a great alternative over the majority of the note apps available. Very limited typography choices. The default page doesn't default on the the sectiins with the categories of notes. It also doesn't show you what section you are using making a new note. It doesn't indicate the number of notes in each category

Not very functional for people who want something that is an actual note-taking app. Pages seem to be infinite and move around way too much. I wish there was a way to freeze everything and make it like actual folders and notes that are organized. It's not very ADHD or autistic friendly in my opinion. Every time I try to use it it moves all around. I want it to scroll up and down and that's it.

The only reason I use OneNote is sticky notes. OneNote sticky notes were my replacement for iCloud Notes since I can sync between devices. The issue for me is it's clearly inferior to iCloud notes. I understand that your sticky notes are meant to be very simple and stripped down, but something as simple as having NO "recently deleted" or option to password protect notes feels limited. It's also hidden away in the app and hard to reach. There's also a bug which deletes my notes if I try and edit.

I have hundreds and hundreds of notes. All of the sudden, they stopped syncing. I checked my OneDrive account and they're gone. All of them. What's really weird is that the one notebook I deleted is still there. Everything else has just vanished. Doesn't work at all with DEX. Lack of ability to alphabetize is ridiculous. Going to try ZoHo Notebook or Evernote, but one way or another I'm done with this app.
