Connected to thermostat via app (finally, it took at least two dozen attempts) and now any change i try to make to the thermostat via the app results in a "Datapoint set Failed" error. Napoleon's help page show zero content for this. Not a very helpful help page!

Absolute garbage. Will connect to the thermostat just long enough to push a completely new (and unwanted) schedule, then disconnect and the thermostat loses wifi connection. Removed device and uninstalled/reinstall the app just to have the same thing happen again. The thermostat is about 20ft from the router so not a wifi issue, just incredibly bad software/app design.

The app is very difficult to use. Example...If you change schedule it appears to update but does not update the actual thermostat. After a couple of minutes it reverts back to what it was originally. Also, the temperature does not update automatically, you need to close the device window and reopen it to get the actual temperature. Most settings need to be done on the thermostat or they don't actually work. Useless compared to the Nest app I used to have.

Terrible. This app will not pair with my EQHUB Smart Thermostat. I have followed the directions carefully without success. My experience appears to be similar to other users. Napoleon sells a premium product, and then fails to support the full set of features they market. I am disappointed. The 9700 Series Furnace with a Premium Heat Pump Series appears to be a top shelf product. Without the app to control the thermostat, this product set is not as capable or feature rich.

App has improved with recent updates. Seems more stable. Raised rating from 1 to 3 stars. Still drops wifi from time to time and other features still a bit clunky. Cannot see earleir energy use before current month, for example. But it seems to have improved.

This is the worst app I've experienced. Same problems as described by others and it also randomly synchronizes the wrong time thus completely messing up the schedule. It will not let you manually set the time despite operating on the wrong synchronized time.

This doesn’t appear to be much use beyond getting the thermostat onto my wifi. Any attempt to update the settings on the thermostat from the app either don’t save or are met with an error.

The heat pump and furnace usage no longer updates at all. It used to provide data for 4 on or 5 days of the week. Update 6 March 2023: data for many days in the monthly calendar are absent. It is now May 5th and the calendar for May was several days late arriving in the App and it is not displaying any data yet. Very frustrating!
