Honestly, I love this app. There's really nothing like it(from my experiences). They layout, the community, the setup, everything is unique and cool. But it's gotten horrible to work with. It lags a lot and there are constant bugs. I really don't want to see Amino gone, but I wish the stuff would get fixed. I've been using it since early 2019/2020.

As of November 24th, 2024, I'm experiencing the same app-breaking error message that I've gotten twice in the past. I can't send messages, and have been forced to uninstall. Now, I cannot log back in. Again, this has happened twice before, and each time the wait for it to be fixed gets longer too. I really don't get why this is such an issue, but if I plan to stay here any longer, I really hope it is resolved.

Used to be my favorite app. Now, it's unusable. The app has bugs everywhere. It crashes, won't load chats, gives error pop ups, can't send images... But don't worry, you'll get swamped with ads even if you PAY for Amino+. Went from 5 stars to 1 star in just a matter of some years. Even when it works, it struggles to do so. If / when this app get fixed I'll change my review. But for now, MediaLab needs to hear what people are saying. Either fix the app, or sell it. But it's not usable currently.

It's full of creepy men and scam bots. It won't load 80% of the time and once a day it makes me log back in and then refuses to connect for hours. Every time I post it says there's an error and then posts it twice. It has so many problems recently. Plus there are people mass inviting others to pro r@pe, racism, and 18+ chats. Nothing stops them. It won't load almost every time I get one there

I've also been hit with the "Invalid request, please update your app" login bug, and although I have contacted support (who were very nice,) I've been unable to get into my account for a whole month now. This is not the first time it has happened, but so far it's the longest I've been locked out of the app. I have used Amino since 2017 and it is utterly ridiculous how much worse it's gotten over the years. I appreciate those who are helping but the fact this happens so often is disheartening.

Used this a few years back. Before pandemic, but had since moved on to discord. However, now when I try to log in it tells me it's a invalid session. It does not tell me invalid password/mail but invalid session and to update it to the latest version. It literally is on the latest version. It should not be so difficult for me to log in into my account again

Have enjoyed this app for a long time but opened it up like normal over a month ago to find I had been logged out. I can't log back in, and when I try to it tells me that I need to update to the latest version, which hasn't happened yet. I'm rather disappointed about this issue as I had a pretty long check-in streak and was in the middle of a few art transactions when this occurred and I'm now unable to contact the people they were with.

When it actually works, I love it. The fact that you can get easily get in touch with so many people that enjoy the same things you do. But the app crashes A TON. So that is something that really needs to be worked on. (Edit:) The app has only been working less and less as time goes on. Frequent crashes. Communities, images/files, and messages not loading. Messages sometimes not sending. And now this issue of NOTHING working and telling me to update the app even though I already have done so.
