HEAR WHAT NEIGHBORS HAVE TO SAY ABOUT NEXTDOOR
“Before Nextdoor, I didn’t know there were several qualified babysitters living nearby and looking for work. It was easy to feel comfortable hiring my neighbor’s daughter to watch my son after school.” - Patrick, Mission East
“This year for Spring Cleaning, we wanted to sell old appliances, tools, clothing and electronics on Nextdoor For Sale & Free. In no time, our neighbors stopped by to make a deal and take things off our hands. It was easier than anything else, and it feels good knowing our old stuff has found a new home in the neighborhood.” - Dan, Hayes Valley

Hiding ads means nothing. On this app, the same ad appears every few posts. You have the option of hiding it, but you're still going to see the next one. And the next one. Etc. Even resetting the app doesn't matter, the ad will still show up in your feed. Some ads I DO NOT want to see. The result is avoiding the app. It's that the goal here, Nextdoor?

Love the idea but this app pretty much sucks. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it 3 times and it still won't let me pick a neighborhood. It will let me follow literally ANY neighborhood EXCEPT the one I ACTUALLY LIVE IN. On top of that, it always last minute puts something I wasn't trying to tap under my finger right before I tap it. I know that might sound actually crazy but it literally does that. It's maddening. Just let me tap what I'm trying to tap ffs.

So far wildly janky app, seriously I've seen 20 year old software run better. First I get constant annoying notifications to join the app, the app is so great, all of your neighbors are on the app. Then I get it and it won't let me input my address, just keeps saying "oops sorry :(" then it puts me in some random neighborhood that I can't change for 30 days. I can't imagine anyone but drama queens and people who don't have enough going on in their lives getting this app anyway. Very bad app.

I've been reporting issues for about 8 months. All they say is sent issue to product team. Instead of working on useless new features, perhaps the should fix everything that doesn't work first. Regarding your below reply. That is the contact us form. I've submitted the issue 3 times there. Others across the country have done the same. We have been told they all have been forwarded to product team, yet it hasn't been fixed.

Horrible horrible horrible. I have less than 24rhs on the app, and I have been indefinitely suspended, and I did not break any agreement or policy. All I did was purchase one item,i was supposed to purchase another today but since they decided to ban me I lost the chance to be able to, and I really needed that cabinet they had for sale. I have never double message anyone about an item they had for sale, I've always just asked once if the item they were selling was still available. Again horrible

Constantly emailing me and showing a feed full of neighborhoods I don't follow. Why bother letting me choose which neighborhoods are relevant of you don't honor that selection in any way? Developer's reply leads to a setting that no longer exists. They don't even know how to use their own app. Also, I clearly stated that I'm not following the neighborhoods they keep emailing me about. Instead of arguing, you can use this feedback to make your product more appealing.

I would like to provide feedback on the search engine's functionality. While attempting to locate a lost or found pet, I encountered difficulties in finding the relevant information. It appears that the previous centralized location for lost and found pet listings has been discontinued. (Bad choice.) It helped a lot of pets get home. Even animal control used that feature, and you determined it was not helpful.

Uninstalling the app. Out of nowhere it started using up way too much battery life in the background. The issues below still stand. This app remains buggy and frustrating to use. Typing into any of the text fields is extremely annoying as it seems to miss key strokes or skips words. No other app on my phone does this. If you background the app, oftentimes it'll lose where you were. So if you were reading through a post with many comments, you're out of luck unless you bookmarked it.
