App is working and the new battery info feature is nice. Bad: The refresh function is lagging. I turn on an appliance then goto the app; hit refresh button, but it won't refresh. It will just show the same time stamp and data from several mins ago. Very frustrating when you're trying to power manage your house. It keeps repeating the last data reading with the old timestamp for at least 3 to 5 mins without updating. I restart the app but that doesn't help.

A bit difficult to set up dongles, especially with these crazy required installer codes. This wasn't needed before with previous applications and eg4 devices. Also, the information you can see is very basic, especially historical data. For example, you can't see battery voltage history. The only history you can see is power and energy, and even that is summarized, no split by PV string or ac output leg in a split phase. Those to me are just as important, actually critical as far as battery.

This app sucks. It has features, but they rarely work for me. Reason being that 75% of the time when I try to make adjustments on the app a little message pops up that says "network may have trouble". Also it's not real time. I have to constantly refresh it to see current numbers. I don't get notifications for faults or warnings until after I've resolved the issue. At that time when everything's fixed it will send me a message telling me what the error code was. Mostly useless. Could be cool.

Better news on the EG4 Mobile app: Version 1.3.0 now shows only the login and then after successful login, the first page. Can't swipe to the next page as in the past, but you can use the icons on the bottom to get between pages. Would still like a battery voltage or State Of Charge SOC trend line in the chart. Previously, version 1.2.7 resulted in a crash on configuration settings page. Signature Solar worked on the update to fix this. Meanwhile, the EG4 Monitor via website is working.

Never connects to network, even in dedicated 2.4g network with no special characters, and a simple 12345678 password. Latest update fixed the broken bluetooth. Garbage that should be a local solution but instead we rely on foreign servers to access our local networks. Great way to open us up to be part of a botnet EG4!

The app says "unknown username or password", though I can login to the website. I *was* able to use "local connect" to configure the wifi dongle.

fix one problem but created two more. Now, the battery icon has an exclamation mark, like if theirs a problem with the battery, and it shows the wrong inverter. Instead of showing the 6000xp, it has the 18k inverter. you should have left it how it was in the beginning

Just like the "SmartESS" app before it, all EG4 apps seem to be developed by some of the worst coders in the world. They don't understand time zones, lots of stuff is spelled wrong or makes no sense, and the application is barely functional even in the most basic areas. Even Victron lets you view real-time stats, and even zoom in and out of your graphs. So I bought a "solar assistant" raspberry pi device, and never looked back.
