app is now doing this strange thing where it's showing me every iteration of a plurk I've made when I touch the back arrow at the top left. it used to just require one tap to return to the main timeline. now, I have to keep tapping that arrow, going backwards through every update made on that plurk, until it finally takes me back to the timeline. I end up just quitting the app entirely and reopening it any time I want to return to the timeline because it's too annoying otherwise. horrible.

I've been an active user in plurk for almost 11 years, and of the plurk app when it first opened. Whatever update that rolled out in the last few days has made it miserable to use due to the notification sound of responses. There is no way to turn it off, even if you have your phone set to vibrate or silent. This should be an option meant to work with your phone's notification setting. I'll reinstall if this is ever fixed but for now its uninstalled.

In the light of Facebook (and Instagram and twitter) manipulation, plurk is the real social media nowadays. Any timeframe to fix the notification? it's currently broken. if you got more than one notification, only the first one opened that brings to the correct plurk, the next will bring to the first one again. not a deal breaker, but it'll be nice to have it fixed

it's cute but i suggest if we can possibly customize amount of timeline categories we can put like either we can remove the other timeline types like "mine" "mentioned" "likes" it can make the interface looks cleaner

Just reporting a minor bug. After the update, the app asked for permission to something (access storage i think? Just the typical request, nothing dangerous). I answered once. But now every time i open the app, a pop up appears that says "you can change permission in settings". Doesn't affect app operation tho. Still love this app and socmed site! ❤️

It's really fun but there's a lot of drama. I think it needs to monitor the anons better. But overall I've made so many friends!

Wasn't able to access my account for the past few days, timeline and posts not loading and even my friends went missing on plurk! Wasn't able to verify my email and account to retrieve the log in password as well even though i rememvlber i had verified it when i signed up in dec 2022. Pls assist in this matter! Thanks!

Wonderful platform. Hope it grows! It seems very limited in user quantity, but the aesthetic and practices are much nicer than other media alternatives. There is a membership like system to this, but it doesn't take away any primary functions.
