"The Good Neighbour" is a new and amazing app to help everyone save money on their household renos and projects! Absolutely free to download. It's based simply on neighbour to neighbour tool rentals. Its a good app for a free one. Listing tools takes some getting used to either using one from their list or adding in the details yourself. The built in messaging can be a bit slow but its still functional and keeps history. If you try do too much at once it can hang and needs a restart but all in all its a decent app and great for renting out your gear or finding someone you need for a day.

Lots of potential, but still lots to improve. Searching for tools is difficult as the order of the words seem to be important ("impact wrench" and "wrench, Impact" yield different results). Also tool names are super specific instead of being generic and easy to search. A better categorization and filter system would be enormously helpful. Loading screen that flashes up and down briefly is annoying and unnecessary. User profile page w/ menu should be the first tab. UI could be improved lots.

Needed an extension ladder to put up my Christmas lights. Picked one up from a short distance away for a totally reasonable price. Awesome to have this cause it's hard to justify buying some tools you aren't going to use very often. I think the app worked well and I had a good experience.

Great concept. Still need some work. Have waited several days for my ID to be verified. No way to filter notifications by type or relevance. Clunky process for adding new tools. That being said, I'll keep the app for now in hopes it continues to improve because I really like the idea behind it.

There's no where on the app that indicates this is a Canada-centric app. Downloaded in California, USA, and when I went to create an account it was asking me for Province info and such. Giving it three stars because I really want to use this app and dont want to give it a "bad" review, but it was little misleading. I will gladly amend my review if this ever rolls out in earnest in the US and I get to get into it.

great concept, however if your like me and into cars looking for specialty car tools, the best your going to find is a low profile Jack, this app provides no option to make your own listing and is all based off the tools in the system (basic dewalt tools) making it very hard to find something good.

Great Idea! I just rented a drywall lift for 3 days and still payed less than Lowes one day rent charge. The more people using this app, the better it will be. there's still a few kinks that need worked out but overall great concept. Hope this takes off!

Very cool concept. My experience using the app was great. The young gentleman that rented my pressure washer ever topped up the oil when he brought it back. Wish this app was around years ago. I would have saved lot of money
