Update: Lately the app can't make it pay the splash screen half the time. I like some of the features of the app, but the UI can be annoying and it's way too slow to load. (For example, why does it have to reset and reload the entire coupons page when I change tabs then change back?) I also wish Publix had more automatic deals for club members. Clipping coupons is tedious, and that's usually the only kind of discount available. That alone doesn't really do much to keep me coming back.

This review is about the Publix App. It's a worthwhile app to have. The in app experience is great. after a few times it is very easy to navigate. using the in app shopping list will list your items by location from one end of the store to the other, nice. The shopping list will hold all your coupons, nice. there are also special deals only to be found on the app, incentive. and haven't had any problems when checking out, have always gotten my discounts.

I love the convenience of having the app present my shopping list in order of encounter in the store I select. I love the suggestions of sale items based on prior purchases. I wish that the search engine was a bit more flexible. I occasionally can not find items that I know are in the store because my entry is not precise enough.

I'm a home health aide for seniors. This app is extremely helpful when grocery shopping with the elderly at different locations. You can enter in their shopping list once you select which location you're going to, and it tells you what isle everything is on. It cuts your shopping time in half not having to look at the signs and trying to find what you need. Their coupon section and weekly bogos are easy to access. Very convenient.

I got an app notification for a half birthday perk, but the notification did not lead anywhere and the perk is not actually in the perks coupons section. ??? It's difficult to differentiate between current/next week's sale/coupon/save items on the shopping list b/c every label is red. I want to see coupons outside the shopping list. I made another list for this, but it's awkward to switch lists. The coupon toggle switch is insufficient for this, more separation would be helpful.

Could be great, but it's extremely slow when it does work, and it often hangs up completely so I have to "Force Close" it. I have a Pixel 8, so it's not a limitation of my phone. I have no problems with apps from Kroger, Walmart, and Target. I also wish it showed the price of each item (not just the ones on sale), and I wish it would tell me if an item is out of stock. The other store apps do this, so I know it's possible. C'mon, Publix, do better!

Recently items that are marked as favorites get a "sorry something went wrong" error when attempting to add to shopping list. When searching for same item, it no longer appears as available item, no matter which store location I choose, even though item is still carried in store. This was mildly annoying for one or two items but now it's eight or ten items, it's ridiculous. Even Publix brand items on my favorite list can no longer be added to my shopping list! Makes the features rather pointless

I used to have a 2-star review here years ago, but most of my issues have been addressed. Thanks Publix Dev team! Especially for fixing that new bug recently where I couldn't reassign the location of an item to a different aisle/section manually, much appreciated. My last minor gripe is that I still wish it had a tiny pop up to undo a delete item from shopping lists, which could fade or scroll away or something in a second.
