The application itself is neat. I can practice from my book while on my rather long bus commute. BUT I wish there were some way to turn off androids auto capitalization when using this app. Also if viewed in landscape mode the text entry box takes up the whole screen, covering the editor, which sucks. But again, that's an android issue, not the app.

An excellent IDE for coding in java. Many great features right on your phone, that you expect from an IDE that runs on PC. Error checking as you type, code completion with links to the relevant javadoc, as well as redo, undo, and my favorite, buttons to move the curser. Unneeded on a PC, its a blessing when writing code on your phone. I would trade the tab button for one that performs a right-click though.

I am just learning Java. It seemed promising for doing homework in a portable device, but I can change my code all that I want, save it, but the code never seems to recompile, as it gives me the same result every single time. Plus, the terminal gives me a spinning circle in the upper left that never goes away, and you can't use a Bluetooth mouse to change tabs; you can only use the touch screen. Plus some UI elements could be smaller to save screen space. If these get fixed it will be great!

The app is great overall, but I encountered major issues trying to make call from other classes. If I find a solution to this issue and can successfully make it call from other classes, I'll gladly update my rating to 5 stars. Also, Android makes this worse with the auto-capitalizaion, so if you want to use this, I would suggest turning that off in the settings while in the app.

They fixed errors and responded quickly to reviews from previous version (!!! yeah) but without Gradle can't do much(boo!!!!). Aide IMHO is an editor wich has better git and gradle support. I try this ide occasionally, because it was showing promise k : ).Having a terminal great. It loses a stars because no real way to see what command i can run in terminal and doesn't support git from the terminal wich i use often and it looses another because I keep getting the can't locate rewind symbol error

While typing code cursor is being jumped to 1st line always. Not allowing to type and not showing cursor. Unable to locate the cursor on specific location. Text/multiple code lines are being selected automatically then showing copy, cut, paste, select all options and if typed then existing text is overwritten!!! Restarted app. Cleared cache memory. Deleted chrome browser data. But Nothing change. Should import statements need to be included or not ? POOR EDITING.

Very Good app. But no javax.swing, Pls update the java version. Also there is this issue: Compiling... Dexing... Uncaught translation error: com.qamar.tools.dx.cf.code.SimException: ERROR in greeting.Greeting.main:([Ljava/lang/String;)V: invoking a static interface method java.util.Comparator.naturalOrder:()Ljava/util/Comparator; strictly requires --min-sdk-version >= 24 (blocked at current API level 13)1 error; aborting "My phone is an android 13 and a 14 with an API of 33 and 34."

It is very good and dynamic IDE. However, there is review below saying that the output doesn't change in spite of changing the statement inside System.out.println() command. I also have experienced it first and became frustrated but discovered suddenly that it will happen only if you compile the code without saving. So, it is not a problem. Best of luck, Alif software. جَزَاكَ اللّٰهُ خَيْرًا
