Android App Analysis and Review: CPU/GPU Meter & Notification, Developed by Promotino Ltd.. Listed in Tools Category. Current Version Is 6.3.0, Updated On 08/05/2025 . According to users reviews on Google Play: CPU/GPU Meter & Notification. Achieved Over 487 thousand Installs. CPU/GPU Meter & Notification Currently Has 5 thousand Reviews, Average Rating 4.4 Stars
Have you ever wondered what is your CPU or GPU doing now, how much battery current is, what are the temperatures of your SoC, how many memory is currently available and so on? Usually to do this you have to quit your app and switch to other app to see this data. But by the time of switching data is already irrelevant! With help of this CPU/GPU Meter & Notification you can have all this data as permanent notification and you can access it in a single swipe.
The app shows:
1. Name of app (or process) consuming most CPU cycles now*
2. CPU utilization - total, per core and per core type (E - efficient, H - high performance, P - prime)
3. CPU frequency - current, maximum and average
4. CPU active core
5. CPU temperature*
6. Battery temperature
7. Available memory
8. GPU utilization*
9. GPU frequency - current and maximum*
10. Battery charge/discharge rate
AND ALL THAT SIMULTANEOUSLY AS NOTIFICATION!
Additional app's features:
1. Monitor battery remaining capacity.
2. Monitor how fast your battery changes/discharges.
3. Charge alarm (it can be used to notify when battery charge reaches certain level).
4. Customize what data is visible in the notification(s).
5. Battery overheat alarm.
6. Customize app's theme.
7. Show information about device's hardware.*
Supports Android 15
The application is crafted by team based in Europe which pays attention to the hardware details. We are curious about what exactly the hardware is doing at every moment in order to utilize it more efficiently. It was initially created for personal use but later decided that it could be useful for everybody.
As the application grows we developed a dark theme for it. It was also inspired by other utility application that our team built with love - https://nighteye.app
* DISCLAIMER: GPUs are rarely supported on latest Android versions. This is because of permission issues. Also because of permissions issues with some custom ROMs (like Linage OS) other options marked with * may not be supported as well. Sorry for this inconvenient. If there is someway to solve it, we will. Data shown in the application is for information only. For accurate specification please refer to the manufacturer.
If you wish other functionality in the app, feel free to write an email to our support team!

To me it is the best monitoring app. For example : all the monitoring apps does not have graphs. This app can also show your RAM usage and battery tempature. It shows every time some information with a notification bar that is always there. So if you are playing a game and you want just to see your CPU temperature, it is easy and fast. The only thing they could add is maybe a temperature graph

It's great but uses alot of ram, and I hope that u would add a feature that would make the cpu, gpu and battrey temps be shown on the screen as an option instead of sliding for the notification to Check it

after the recent update, the battery wearing & rate monitor feature has stopped working (saying it is not supported). it's quite disturbing as i payed for that feature. update: i tried to raise a ticket at promotino[dot]com but i had no luck, no answer no nothing. if the devs read this pls provide me some contact information update II: after rebooting my phone the app seems working again

It has a great option for the notification bar that always shows how much the cpu and other components work. Like battery temperature and RAM usage. It gives a good look on the Taskbar. When you open the app you will get useful Hardwareinformation, and a CPU graph showing hardwareuse. This program is not a battery drainer, and my device is with this running using atleast less than 0% cpu usage on all 8 cores. It is simple and effective. Deserves for the non GPU (free version) 5 Stars.

Temperature and usage in notification bar just as wanted, there's an option to disable the notification on your lock screen so that's cool. The notification will disappear, and it actually takes a couple seconds to reappear once you log back in. Very cool app, barely touched my battery, but I think my phone battery is pretty decent tho, so ig keep that in mind too. Good luck everyone 👍

Okay, so since the last few weeks, the cpu temperature on my galaxy s23 is super inaccurate. It shows way hotter than it really is. Sure... So the temp on load naturally jumps around. I've seen the app also suggest 100% of usage and sit there until I reboot. It also will display a cpu temp of 150 degrees and never drop until I reboot. I've been comparing these readings to other apps to get a consensus. With the other apps, the readings rise and fall like they are supposed to. No idea.

Good app does what it says on the tin.. however this app likes to phone home to random firebase servers and other analytics. Been using a VPN based firewall to blackhole the traffic this app tries to create. Point is this app tries to establish multiple connections to these servers ever few seconds or so. I reckon the app is programmed like that to attempt to reconnect to analytics servers if the connection is lost for whatever reason. Not really an issue for me but just an fyi to everyone else.

Finally! An app that deserves 5.0 stars, brings Windows CPU hardware monitoring quality to a phone! Great engineering & ad policy too. With this meter, it's easy to visualize that most pre-packed phone apps run load-balanced across SMP cores. So viewing all cores in different colors in one graph is very good because often differences are slight. To really test it, I wrote a C++ infinite loop that loaded one core to 100% while the other cores remained idle at 5%. Perfect. Useful would be a time value for the left y-axis (right is t=0), so we know the full time range of the graph. IF POSSIBLE & ACCESSIBLE, please also give us a new graph of power in Watts (ie P = battery voltage x current). It will help us examine hardware power hogs compared against CPU loads, eg how much power is my FM radio taking?, my WiFi, etc? If you want to know if your phone is behaving OK, or kill apps that may be hogging CPU etc, don't hesitate, this is the app to have. EDIT: thank you for fixing the start-up bug. Still 5.0 stars from me.
