Become 1% better, every day

We tend to underestimate how small improvements add up. If you get 1% better at something every day, that doesn’t feel like much. You might not even notice it at first. Keep at it, and progress becomes remarkable though. 1% better each day means 37 times better after one year.

Refind looks amazing on first look & usage but as soon as you started using it, you'll realize it has problems. First, app isn't updated since May 2023 and we are stepping in 2025. Second, this app came tackling overinformation knowing most of us are busy so notifications can help us see new reads and click and them read them thereafter but last 2 months, no notifications. Third, Dominik response via message inapp is missing so cant say what's the future of this app. Hoping for betterment. 👍🏽

I've tried a few of these aggregators to keep up on topics of interest with good information delivered to me. Refind is by far the best one so far. The topics from which to choose are interesting and varied. The sources have seemed good and the information presented well. I'll keep digging in and see if I feel the same in the future. If so, I'll have no reason to edit this original review!

Excellent app that I've used every day for almost a year. It's great to get articles chosen for you, rather than going to the regular places, as I've had loads of really interesting reading that I would never have seen. Also, having encountered a minor problem, the support provided by Dominik was second to none - superb! Can't recommend Refind highly enough if you've got an enquiring mind. And what's more, although there are advanced features by going premium, there is a free version. Top class.

Who here doesn't feel like there's just so much content out there to read and so little time? Of course much of the content on the web is just riff-raff, some is vaguely useful and some, priceless. It's impossible for one person to comb through the web to find those few gold nuggets. So Refind has been doing that for me. I'm so glad I found it. The UI is super, the curated content consistently awesome and the read aloud so useful. So far, I can't find a single flaw. Absolutely love it.

This has quickly become my go-to reading app! I was curating my own RSS feeds, and I still do, but Refind has made it significantly easier to find new and interesting content. I find myself reading more, since I'm not overwhelmed by dozens of new articles. Also, the recommendations actually seem to take into account my feedback, which isn't always the case with another, unnamed, app that consistently shows me politics and sports no matter how many times I tell it I'm not interested.

It's Ok At Best, Super Slow Development. The app promised rewards in crypto over a year ago and has yet to deliver on that promise. That means you will be contributing for free. They recently took away a key feature that helped you customize your feed called "More like this/Less like this". Now it is to difficult to find the articles you are looking for. The app is slow to add better features and feel like it's been moving at a snails pace. I had hope for this app, but now I would not recommend.

This is an absolutely beautiful app. I love the design, layout and the experience of using it. The picks are interesting and useful, easy to save and lead to other great articles. Also fantastic is the Explore feature, and I very much enjoy making myself a collection to read at the weekend, relaxing with a cup of coffee and looking forward to some time to read, exploring what is going on in the world.

So many notifications!!! Apps should not default to sending many useless notifications and burden the user with pruning them. The topics on offer did not seem that relevant or interesting, and the "picks" it made were really out of step with what's happening in the news right now. What really annoyed me, though, was the "weekend" mode that seems to lock you out of everything (including editing your profile settings) unless you share the app with friends. So gross. Uninstalled.
