MantisX is a training system that helps you improve your bow handling.Use of the app requires a MantisX Sensor which can be bought here: https://mantisarchery.com. This app is clean, well laid out. Two things stopping it from being perfect: ability to quickly delete a shot, and the limited overlap with the 'MyTargets Archery' mantis app. Would be great if I could track my cumulative score for a session as well as the individual results.

It's almost perfect!! The app works like a charm, and you can record your shooting performance very well. What I would like to have is an option to set the sleep timer of the Mantis sensor. Most of the time, when I go to collect the arrows and I am back, the sensor is off. That means I need to turn it on, connect, and let it calibrate again. As a result, sometimes I forget to turn it on ... :( Please let me know if there is some option like this and I am missing it.

Good app although there could be some improvements made: Integration of the full functionality of the Mantis "My Targets" app. Keeping track of the score in the Mantis (x8) app is now not possible. Further more the Mantis x8 doesn't usually see my lifting the bow up as that. It shows a green line instead of the turqoise line. Not everyone's bow rests in the same angle. Lastly, the arrow placement is assuming that i was pointing towards where the arrow hit, instead of the middle of the target.

Great app to identify any issues you may have whilst shooting. However there are a few niggles, one of which is having to reconnect before every end! Surely it would be better to have some form of storage in the device which would then transfer the data after the session, which is limiting if shooting outdoor rounds. Another issue is that it only does metric rounds and a third is inputting where the arrow hit is overly awkward! But it's still early in development and works well enough!

The app is a good source of metrics, but there's not enough explication in the app about shot circle charts. Also, there's no way to edit out shots. For example if you plucked your. Also, having to recalibrate everytime you loose signal is a real pain. I have to do it every time I walk to the target to plot my arrows. Having the ability to attach notes on each shot would be good. Also when plotting arrows in the app it would be good to have the app plot out a score card. Just some ideas.

Great app, I use X8 Archery. It is like a $50 per hour coach. It needs a few additional functions which I hope are in future upgrades. You get millisecond movements of your bow, stability of each shot in % a consistent low 90% is pretty steady. Difficulty is, you are the one to figure out exactly what you are doing wrong. Mantis gives the raw data it might be one possible reason or 10. I paid $200 for Mantis8. The app n hardware has paid for itself 10 times over in first week. Buy one!!!

I found this app to be very useful, especially because it gives valuable feedback for every shot and session. The explanations allowed me to see issues clearly, while they also suggested what to change in order to improve and get better. You can see and check your training stats in helpful graphics as well. Even though I think it still needs improvement in some areas, this app deserves 5 stars.

I just got into archery but this app is a amazing. When I started archery around a month ago my aim and form was just horrible. But after some practicing I started to see improvement. The app's Interface is very clean and sleek. Overall it's very easy to use. Connecting this app to my bow was fairly simple as well. The app gives accurate feedback every time and can easily help you improve. This app is basically your free trainer. I would reccomend this app to anyone who is new to archery.
