The F80 feeder does not work like advertised! No matter what I do in the app, it does not open and close consistently! Don't buy it until they fix their software!

App and door work for me however the log in is useless and burdensome. I'm in the pouring rain letting in some chickens that got locked out of their coop due to settings. By the time I reset my password and created a new one my phone and I were soaked. What's the point of a login except to sell my info?

What a miserable clunky app experience. But the worst part -- once I got over the fact that this expensive door that presents itself as smartphone-integrated cannot be directly controlled from a mobile device -- is that the product team apparently missed or ignored the requirement of being able to use local sunrise/sunset ("GPS") time with a user configurable offset. I have to either live with the vagaries of an offset based on the light sensor, use precise GPS times, or manual control.

The app will configure the door like it says, even allowing you do it by your GPS location. It may be better if it was laid out differently. It seems a little confusing at first until you play with it a bit. I don't think it needed access to my info like I saw in other comments. It didn't give me any problems. It wasn't glitchy or anything. The battery power tracker in the app, I think is just going off the date you activate it. There is no actual reading going on other than the calander date.

Looks like these guys are just trying to monetize further. They used to have an online configurator that didn't require an app, now you have to have the app. Their doors are already way over priced and don't even offer wifi automation. I'll probably be splicing in a smart relay switch and make a YouTube video of it just to show how easy it would be to make this thing wifi enabled.

Will NOT do anything with my RUN-CHICKEN Door Eternal (Red) – All in One Solar Powered Automatic Chicken Coop Door The door doesn't even do what the instructions say it should do. Perhaps it's a defective door and I should buy some other brand.

the app is not user friendly and i have not been able to figure it out

This app steals your information. They ask for account access to program the door and there is zero reason for them to require such access. The app flashes the screen in a pattern and pretends to keep track of battery life. That's it.
