Removal of store credit option for playstation star members??? The playstation stars program is only available on mobile so removing the main feature of the rewards program is unacceptable. Alongside the fact the app no longer works correctly on android, slowing down, crashing, unable to view screenshots from other games unless you open the game and screenshot. scrolling through the saved screenshots causes the app to crash if there are video clips saved due to autoplay and can't disable it.

Ordinarily this app does what it's supposed to do and works great but recently, around the first week of October, my app just stopped working. I don't mean there's an error message or some features aren't working, it straight up stopped working. I'll press the app icon on my home screen, it'll show the blue backsplash like it's opening, then just stops. Instant crash. I'm using Android, I've cleared the cache, managed memory, reinstalled, nothing works. It's a shame, I used this all the time.

App has been going into shambles. First the app would crash when I tried downloading clips. Then when I clip a 15 second video, uploading it would make my ping from 15 to 500+. Not only that but I can even turn the settings off on mobile because the app crashes as soon as I open it. They need to fix this, it's been like this for me for probably 4 months now. It's not a wifi problem either for those wondering. I've checked with different wifi providers and wired connection.

All things considered, it's a fine mobile hub for Playstation owners. When it works. But it is unbearably slow. It can only load the bare minimum before tapping out when trying to load you library, captures, even your profile, and other things. It's a roll of the dice everytime I open it to wanna check/download my clips and screenshots, sometimes it works, often times it doesn't.

Update - 3weeks of not working, no contact from anyone. Nov 14, 2024 Keeps auto crashing, I uninstalled, update, clear storage, etc, still can't get in. Sent in a ticket and still haven't heard back. But I keep getting emails about updating to stars or whatever, that's in the app. That I can't get into. Oct 28th 2024

Nothing but issues and disappointments with this app! I hoped the problem was me using an outdate phone with Android 9. Now I have a new phone and the app works worse than before! Now when I try to use voice to text, the microphone cuts off the instant I press it. On my old phone I could at least send a message by voice. This is so annoying. There appears no way to repor these problems to anyone and I doubt Sony even cares.

EDIT: Now it won't load the captures at all or allow download. Would be great if when it did work it would allow you to download longer video clips It's alright. The ability to download my captures is great but the fact it refuses to load and play them before I download is frustrating. It's basically a messenger app for me since it does make it easier to messages friends

Honestly love this app I've had it for years without any problem, but within the last month they've been releasing updates that have completely broken the app. No longer receive notifications and app crashes immediately upon opening. Contacted support with no response and have uninstalled and cleared cache with no sign of anything changing. Hopefully it gets fixed soon and I can remove this post but with it's current state not worth the space on any device.
