It's better and worse than past versions. My note 9 had a powerful version that incorporated video player as well when I first got it. This iteration has a great editor for a base phone app. But the way it views videos is very frustrating. Especially when you have to open the video player from within the app now. I cannot understand why samsung has made some of the choices they did with this app. But all said and done, its an integral and handy part of using my device.

Forced to pay for Microsoft One in order to save my pictures from Samsung Gallery. Samsung Gallery won't sync with the required App. I'm unable to get anyone to help resolve this issue that I've had for months now. I've reset, updated, reinstalled, clear cache and data. Nothing is working. I really wish I could receive actual help from Samsung, instead of being told to refer to an article for something I've already tried. This is ridiculous!

My Gallery was working fine with no issues. However it said it had an update available, so I updated it. Afterwards, the object eraser feature was completely gone. Also, In Google Play store, it said it's no longer compatible with my device, Samsung Galaxy S21 Fe. Here's the fix for those who use it...Uninstall the update. The feature will return after that.

I love this app. My problem now is that the icon was removed from my main screen and when I go looking for it, it says its installed but in the play store "is no longer compatible with your samsung phone" what? When? Why? So if i try to uninstall and install back it wont let me. Same thing happened with my Contacts, Calendar, Calculator, Cash App.

Since developers nor anyone else is responding to issues, support, or anyone, period. I'm not sure how useful this review will be. One day, the app is compatible with my device. The next day, it isn't. I have an s23 ultra, BTW. I could go on to seek out answers, options, etc, but again, it seems everyone is knocking, but no one is home.

I'm actually frustrated with this. I have an S22 and now suddenly the app is no longer compatible and it shows because I would delete over 1000 photos and all of them come flooding back and I don't want to see these photos and videos. I've tried to delete them, can't find them in another gallery but it just keeps coming back and I'm so annoyed. A very frustrated Samsung user.

Annoying! All I want to do is see all my photos in a folder in the order in which they appeared. I don't want them grouped into albums, nor do I want them grouped into applications. I have the ability to make up my own mind as to how I wish to store/display my pics. But you can't get rid of 'standard' Samsung apps unless rooting you phone, so it doesn't matter if you use a different app, this one is here to stay regardless!

Originally, Samsung's OOTB image editing software was my go-to for social media photo editing on the fly, which I do a LOT. For apparently NO good reason, they have reorganized it and stripped it down to the point where it is useless to me, and I have to rely on various apps with ads. My next phone will not be Samsumg. Good job, guys.
