Literacy and Numeracy Drive (LND) is a comparatively new but very important initiative introduced by the CEO Education.
It is an integral part of District system.

From 2015,
conduct of the LND test for Class 3 students shall be mandatory for all MEAs in all the schools all over the Punjab Pakistan.
where Class 3 exists.
The AEOs/Head Teachers/Class Teachers are responsible.
MEAs go to a school for monitoring, they conduct LND tests of Class 3 students from 2015 to onward.
