Reduced to 4 stars because it is STILL not quite as reliable as it used to be.. Something's changed.. :( Autostart at start up doesn't always work, and it also gives false notifications that all is good, when actually the signal lock has been lost, You then need to open the app to refresh it . However.. when it works, it works great!.

used to work amazing, took couple of SECONDS to get a proper connection. but since this week it doesn't anymore. takes ages before i get something of a conection, sometimes more than 10-20 MINUTES in a flat country , no mountains, just roads, meadows and forests. to get a connection. even though i see many green bars in the listing. not sure what's going on, but it's always blinking yellow looking forward to the next fix / update , to restore as it once was

Was dealing with the dreaded known issue with LG G5's hardware gps failure in where LG held no accountability. Tried numerous apps to connect through the "in view" satellites as it was only connecting to a couple then it would drop again. None worked up until I downloaded this app and it connected 90% of the satellites available! I could finally do delivery work properly without buying another new phone.

Seems to help other apps stay locked on my current location. Google still seems to have it's own way of finding my location - pro & con. All I know is that I rely on my GPS for work and every time I swich phones or uninstall this app, at the end of the day, I'm so frustrated with the GPS and then it hits me, I didn't have it on as always. Uber, Lyft, Waze nav all seem to be quicker in getting me moving again asap. Just keep it running in the background. And google the settings for help.

No usable instructions. No definitions. For example, there is a switch to "unlock gps after start of app". Logical questions for the inexperienced might be - Why would you want to do this? Should you "unlock" after your nav app starts? No explanations whatsoever. Some switches may seem self-explanatory and some not but, ALL should be addressed.

Previously this was working just fine. In new android versions I can only choose an option "access the location while using the app" and apparently it looses connection in the background. But this is the whole point of the app. Please add an option "Always access location" Hint: it is called ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION permission

Seems to fix the problem with my GPS bouncing all over the map on my LG Stylo5. I've been told this is a Google issue, not a problem with the phone. This has happened on more than one device. The problem I have with this app is that it keeps turning off. I want it to stay on at all times, no timeout. Is there a way to do this? Otherwise I have to reboot the phone, get a correct location and lock the GPS again everytime it turns off.

Works well with a quite new smartphone like an One Plus 6, GPS Locker takes only few seconds to converge to the solution and fix the position with an acceptable error for a moving car when you use it for the help of Waze for example. It could be interesting to do further assessement of GPS Lcker with others apps like running trackers. But for now, I don't regret my investment in GPS Prime Locker since it does the job correctly.
