The National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) is a tool used by healthcare providers to objectively rate severity of ischemic strokes. not intuitive. Have to swipe through 11 screens to get through. Pictures words and sentences don't come up automatically for dysarthria. I wouldn't purchase this app. I'd use the scale in medcalc. It's much quicker and better

Really like being able to keep and share pt info to stroke team via secured messaging apps like Tiger Connect, and then able to delete from phone. Also, precise details are included not on the NIHSS but on the mNIHSS page. Makes everything faster. Using Pro for $1.99. glad to have it.

Great app. Love it, but just wish there was a "back" button, in case you accidentally select the wrong response, so you can return to the previous question and respond correctly and/or be able to edit your response at the end.
