Always wanted to play this game portably and this doesn't disappoint me 5 hours in. I like the QoL improvements such as being able to run from a battle I didn't want to trigger and marking the exit points on each screen. This remastered version also gives you additional information on just about every piece of equipment. Really like the visual improvements and the controls seem easier to learn than I thought at first.

I loved this weird @$$ game 20 years ago on PS1. Now on modern consoles, as well as mobile, where classic 90's RPGs belong, IMO. This fully remastered iteration of the cult classic black sheep of Square's North American PS1 lineup is absolutely the definitive version of the game. Retooled menus, touched up graphics, restored cut content (alongside some that's brand new), and a new, more coherent translation have given this game the adrenaline shot to the heart it deserved. 💖

Great Port. Loved playing this game on my PS1. Didn't understand the story plot when I was a kid, but I had fun crawling my way around the different planets. Gorgeous backgrounds and flexibility in story pacing and play are far more appreciated now as an adult. It's absolutely fantastic that they left the bugs for the junk shop and gold bullion vendors in, keeping the nostalgia authentic. This is the way you guys should be porting your classic library. 👌

This is a great game, however the controls suck, I find myself constantly having to go back and re-click attacks because they don't register the first time, lost an auto save because game loaded quick save n then saved, even tho I clicked "load auto save" it loaded quick save instead. It's irritating lost a good amount of progress but my fault really shouldn't have relied on autosave always save your games manually.

Wordless !!! If without a guide, I will miss some characters and items !!! After playing a three hours plus, it looks like levelling and equipment are very important at the beginning to survive the battle, which is difficult compared to final fantasy games, hard work from game developer !!! Great entertainment to play .the end

A classic JRPG! Music is great, battles are hard, if you're a new player just entering the series like me, expect to be beaten in battles quite a lot. But when you do defeat the bosses it feels really gratifying. Great port! The only problem I have is the fact that you talk to NPCs by walking to them, and this has led to several occasions where I keep talking to the same NPC when I actually want to walk away. Hopefully there's an update in the future that solves this minor inconvenience.

Was a favorite game for ps1 and it's not the greatest game but such a blast from the past and loved reliving my childhood so many thing left unfinished in it. I wish It was completely finished so many unexplained things and random rooms and I can't save the data from one android device to another seems like there is an iPhone version but nothing for Droid

Finished the max difficulty boss rushes for all characters after 50 hours of gameplay. I've been a fan of the series since the late 90s and have replayed this game more than I can count. 4 stars for poor touchscreen controls for this port. The game is still a 5/5. Hoping you would consider making a sequel better than SF2 (it's bad)
