It's a good app. Now, I can share my details with GP so they know about my health. The only issue is that the errors are frequently when the app tries to collaborate with the device, and I have to power off the device and restart it rather than automatically. The device you blow 3 times, it will pick 1, which is towards good even though you used all your strength to blow 1st, 2nd or 3rd and rest 2 times was down a lot. Clever. The bag to carry device rubbish, device for inhaler very loose

This is the companion to the smart peak flow Meter. You need both to see the measurement of your lung capacity and whether you could get an asthma attack. The charts are easy to read. Being an asthmatic I often forget to do charts. If you see that your asthma is getting out of control, the charts can be forwarded to a doctor. Very useful and essential app for asthmatics. I like the daily inspirational quotes.

This app is great, using the smart device to measure your asthma is good, I have found that you can pin point problems sooner as you've got warnings and can deal with things quicker, and a more accurate reading. So your control is much better. I like how small it is so easier to carry around with you. Not the big ones you get from hospital. And so more likely to use and keep closer eye on your condition.

Not keen on the cheesy wording of the reminders, and the device swivels in my phone port, so blowing into it feels like it might not be accurate. Useful to have a log of readings, though, and it's more precise than the peak flow meter supplied by my GP. I paid for the device at the end of the free trial, and I'm almost convinced it was worth it.

Experienced problems using the Smart Peakflow plugged into my phone so ordered the Bluetooth adapter and since using the Bluetooth adapter I have had no further problems. It makes it a lot easier to to keep track of my peak flow measurements and to be able to share my results with my healthcare professional. It's an all together easier way to keep track of how my asthma is doing and flag up any potential problems.

There are better apps that really help and the GP can give you a peak flow or buy for around £10. This is a ripoff, you need to spend nearly £40 and the app only monitors you peak flow. What about the amber steps and reminders for meds. What about the emergency procedures. The device seems good but when your paying this much for an app based device would expect a better quality app. The app won't even save my correct details, had to put the details in in metric before it would save 10 inches. Maybe but had to return the device because it seems to think Im superman with a peak floe of 745, Im an asthmatic with 70% lung function max peak flow ever 565. Do you see a pattern why spend that kind of money on a very unreliable piece of kit and an app that is in development for over 2 years

Seems to work well with the device. I seem to get consistent reading when feeling well, im taking this as the devise is quite accurate. On point when using the meter you must be in good light or it will not read. Stand in the window or under a light. Remember you have to buy the devise. Would be nice if you could edit existing entries, if you forget to add notes that it. Or be able to put in manual results more than once. Might be user error. Would recommend if you need track your asthma etc.

As a data analyst, the only way for me to control my asthma, is to have sufficient data about it. As a busy person, I don't have time or patience to use manual peak flow every day. I was searching for the best solution to record my breathing performance and minimise the possibility for errors. I can honestly say that Smart Peak Flow changed my life. It made this boring everyday task easier and more fun.
