Something is wrong lately, possibly with the latest AndroidOS update. First, I can't bind it with the phone app. It can only bind itself as the calling app, which doesn't exist anymore. It still successfully binds itself as the caller id and spam app. The usual interface doesn't show up, and there are no more report buttons and such. Then, I can no longer find it on Play Store, even typing the full phrase. I have to look it up on my existing app list. Is this app obsolete? All the best.

Used to be a lifesaver app, filtering out nuisance calls. Now it turns off the ringer every time it filters a call, but does not turn the ringer on again afterward. So all day I miss legitimate calls because I don't hear them. It has become a less than useless app as a result. Developer had known the problem for months, but won't fix. Absolutely no way will I set this untrustworthy app as my default calling app.

Working fine for years on various phones. Suddenly it stopped working, with an error message saying that it had a bug to be fixed by the developer, on both of my Samsung A52 5G phones with Android v.12. Restarting/ re-installing did not help. Recovery with previous settings restored Call Defender operation. Developer then advised that a bug fix had been implemented in v. 9.3.2.1. Tested ok.

It used to work well. But since abt 6 mths ago, "Spam Detection Action = Mute Only" stopped working. It can detect a spam call, but phone keeps ringing instead of muting. Have to use "Block Call" (which gives no chance to receive a wrongfully blocked call). Tried setting it as default phone app, but no use, same problem.

Used this app for almost 8 years. It does what it says in description. If you have problems with getting this app to work on your phone, try clear data and cache then re-start the app. I recently had this problem after phone factory reset. I had to clear cache and data for this app before it would work.

Edit : Due to google changing the OS on how calls are handled, the only way for this app to work, is allow it to be default call app, in order to block the spam calls. I have previously stated on an earlier version, default app caused whatsapp calls being blocked, this has been fixed. Spam call blocking still works well albeit a bit janky at times
