Great app. But it really needs: 1. The ability to add ringtones...and different ringtones for each number. Getting the short blip of the phone's default notifications makes me miss lots of calls. 2. The ability to export the history of a caller (especially text messages and pictures) for legal assistance. 3. Just the normal buttons of answer or decline instead of having to press "1 or 2". I miss calls moving from other phone apps to this trying to open the keypad and press "1" before hang ups.

Awesome UI. But there's no option to increase size of text messages! Why?! Also, you cannot block numbers unless they're saved as contacts. Odd! Finally, the app does NOT support gifs. When you text someone a .gif, they see a static image. Other than this, the app seems to work well, and is the best app in this category after Google Voice.

I unfortunately didn't unsubscribe before the free trial was up so I ended up paying for a year of service. Whatever, I'll still use it. Maybe a week later I open the app up(used it every day up to this point) and it's telling me I don't have a burner number. I tap "get a burner" and it tells me there's an error. UPDATE: un-installed the app and reinstalled it. Works fine now.

I don't know what happened, this app used to be solid. now a days, in-app calling is pretty buggy. sometimes not able to pick up calls because button is not responsive, if the call is not dropped entirely before it rings. trying to hear voicemail is a real challenge, either the voicemail does not load, or it loads until the 5th try. then playing it through the speaker is another ordeal... I have been a long time user, and this is the worst experience I've had with this app ever.

10-3-24 Crash fixed! I just received a notice that my minutes were low so I selected "Extend" as Ive done the past four years. However it no longer offers you the prepaid pricing but only offers "subscription" This is a very sneaky way to try and force people to subscribe. Pissed!!!! I emailed Burner and they said they no longer offer prepaid pricing. I was correct that you are now forced to subscribe! They knew this when they responded to my review, they just dont want to publichly state it.

Please help. My business phone is not working. I can't access texts or phone logs. I have customers texting. I can see the icon/notification but when I press on it to go to the app it says I have no burner record. Edit. I figured it out. Had to Uninstal and then reinstall. No thanks to the customer service. The app works well enough but this makes me think about a more permanent solution

Burner allows me to sign up for coupons and spam-producing mailing lists while keeping my actual phone number safe, though Burner doesn't ALWAYS work or receive 2FA texts. I have also used it when giving a phone number to strangers when I wasn't sure about them yet. it also makes it easier to test text-messaging capabilities on the apps I am developing.

Very glitchy. The only thing I'm really able to do on this phone is recieve text messages. Forget trying to respond. You respond, hit send, and the message dissappear from the thread. Then you check the inbox and the entire thread is gone and a new message shows up with just the message you just sent. Going to cancel my sub and find an alternative
