works well, but doesn't give as much info as some other apps (e.g. signing algorithm etc). edit: for people struggling to input the dates, I agree the UI is subpar, but you can quickly switch the year by tapping on the year label at the top.

A great app that reads ePassports with NFC technology. The source code is useful to understand how the new ePassports work. I really recommend it. For those who think the application is collecting their data, please know that this application doesn't have the permission to access the Internet.

Dutch passport failed at the first 3 attempts.it reads more lines than it should and rejects it. Changed passport details to BLOCK LETTERS and it worked. Could be explained in the fields. Samsung S21+

Worked for me, US passport. important that it is Open Source so we can review how it works. Doesn't ask for unnecessary permissions. This is a good app! Note: you can tap on the year to change it.

This app works reliably on Australian ePassports, and its chip-reading functionality can be easily integrated into other apps. Great job!

Great demo app. Works for NZ passport. Navigating between far-out years by tapping year number is easy (as stated by developer). +1 for being open source.

Works fine, and it's open source. Shame to see this many bad reviews when they don't understand how to use this. This could be improved using OCR, but apart from that good job.

NFC not read (it work with other apps), fill all 3 fields, place passport under the phone, but nothing happen!
