Verify gives your accounts an additional layer of security by requiring two-factor authentication (2FA) of each login attempt. With this feature enabled, users will need to provide their password and a time-sensitive verification code generated either in the app or via push notification. Verify can also supply users with a set of single-use passwords that can be stored locally on their phones should they ever need to circumvent an issue with their main 2FA method.Features:
- Instant setup via QR code
- Supports multiple user accounts and platforms, including Amazon, Facebook, and GitHub
- Generates time-sensitive verification codes and single-use passwords either in the app or via push notification
- Unlimited account support

Works fine with Unifi, but two "issues". 1. The Verify app does not use location services (nor does it request permission to do so) and therefore displays odd locations because it apparently only uses ISP and IP address to approximate your location. In my case, the location is off my 240 miles). 2. Unlike other authenticator apps, the notification does not "pop up" and can not be clicked without first expanding the notification icon.

This version doesn't seem very stable. When I open the app, sometimes my accounts don't appear; I either have to go to settings and then back to accounts or let the codes refresh to get them to appear. Also if the app is already open/running in the background, when I switch back to it sometimes it will crash, forcing me to close and restart it. Finally a nice-to-have feature would be the ability to upload custom images for accounts not in the default icons group (there's not many in the default)

I can imagine how other users feel. I don't use the UI app mentioned. I just log into the Amplifi Router sitting on my shelf with the app made for the device. What's on the UI app thats needed? Saw it once when i first bought the router. I deleted the UI app mentioned long ago. Many thought that they needed the UI App when they bought the router. Go through the Web page instead of the app maybe. Could save you a lot of unnecessary problems.

Way harder to get to work with UniFi than a 3rd party authenticator. If I was in charge at unifi, I'd be tempted to pull this app until it's not garbage. Nothing in the UniFi ecosystem has ever annoyed me and wasted my time like this app. I was stuck in a screen asking me to select Verify in a system prompt that didn't come up, and that was confusing to figure out. If you can't actually fix this a week or two, save us all the headaches and kill this app, we'll use 3rd party.

Only became usable in the latest update, so 3 stars. For past year or 2 since mfa was enforced I had to use email and that was awful. Just now, for the first time, I was able to mfa on the verify phone app. Pixel 8 pro. Unifi cloud key Gen 2.

Way better than getting a code by email, but it's nice to have both options.

App lacks Android Adaptive Icon (for theming) It's a simple fix, I'll update the rating when implemented.
