This app displays the current value Grid Square Locator (Maidenhead Locator), adjacent Grid squares and the relative position of the subsquare within the Grid square, calculated based on the geographical coordinates obtained from the satellites of the GPS system, mobile network, Wi-Fi. To successfully run the application, you must give your device permission to determine your location, turn on GPS. No need internet access or mobile network.Notice. The "Time" application field shows the time of the last location update (not the current time)

Position and grid are WAY OFF. I uninstalled and reinstalled a version that was updated on 12 OCT 2022 after reading that the developer had made some updates to fix this very problem. No joy! Moving on to another program.

Edit: new update fixed it thanks. After update location is way off. Uninstalled and re-installed. Same situation. I see on website there was a problem with the current available version, and a new one has been uploaded and should be available soon. I'll keep my finger crossed. Thanks.

Perfect. Does exactly what I need - to read GPS location from my phone and return the Maidenhead locator down to 8 character precision. App shows non-intrusive ad. Simplicity wins.

As a ham radio operator, one of our operations skills are the satellites communications, is very important to know where you are at the time of the transmission. Grid Square Location is an app that can be used for that, more grid worked more possibility to have a certificate from ARRL or AMSAT. 73, Ben.

Simple and works. I would give 5 stars if it could include the magnetic declination of the grid. I will be using this for remote and satellite operations and declination would help
