Has potential, and their tech guys are great. Starting out, I experienced too many issues. Edit: Unfortunately, for onX, a few minor issues arose at the beginning of implementation of their app. The unfortunate part was that I was extremely busy and unable to spare the little time to remedy those issues. My experience with support was excellent. They definitely went above my expectations and did resolve the issues quickly with very little assistance from me. I will try again eventually.

Would be 5 stars if I could bundle all onX services. I VERY occasionally do Backcountry skiing, same with Offroading. Not enough to justify purchasing a separate account for each. Can't say enough about how good the hunting functions are. Have all my stands and property lines tracked. Nice to know I'm legal and can find stands in the dark.

I have not had access to my subscription for over a year and they keep charging my card for it. I cannot unsubscribe because the "Forgot Password" doesnt send the password reset link to my email. The FTC has regulated that it should be just as easy to unsubscribe as it was to subscribe, yet I cannot unsub due to the app being device based. Its not going to send the email, because it was attached to my device, not my email, not play store, nothing. I no longer have that device. I want refunded.

This is a great app. It really helps when looking for the perfect spot to start a hunt. I was shocked to see that the GPS data was still updated when we were off line. The area we hunted did not have phone reception, so this GPS working while off line was a great tool to locate our exact location. This app is very much worth the cost.

I have been using onX for 7 to 10 years. Overall, onX is a good GPS application but the private property owership data and areal images are out of date. OnX is as reliable as the Garmin handheld I had for creating waypoints and tracks. When I switched to onX it had the most accurate maps. However, the onX maps are now out of date. The property owner information is 2+ years old. I use online tax maps and Google Earth for the most accurate information.

They got greedy and did away with all of the features at the Basic level to force users to pay for everything now. There is literally nothing useful left in the free version. Google Maps is more useful now since all you can do is view/zoom the map. This ruined the app and it's a shame. I'll be going elsewhere for my mapping services from now on unless the prior tools are restored to the Basic (free) level.

I love this app! I am not a hunter, but a mushroom and wild edible forager. The different map layers, including the information about trees and property lines, is invaluable. It's ability to track my path is super accurate, and I love that I can save them for later so I can always find my good spots next year. Hands down, best tracking app.

I hate that while I have auto update turned on IT NEVER AUTO UPDATES. It's screwed my hunt a couple times because the app didn't want to act right not updated going into an area with no service, by myself, in an area completely unfamiliar to me, in the dark. Also it's wack Af that my screen needs to be on while tracking to make a track. Great, where tf am I ? Oh lost is the word. Step your game up. You've been around way too long to be having these issues and now wanting to charge more 🤣
