A user interface that feels like a first attempt at a mobile app, interacts poorly with notifications and other media, freezes often, and the listening feature is in its infancy. The API for educational content with canvas only allows me to listen the books in my library if I navigate through the canvas app first, I cannot just open the app directly to listen or it refuses to open the books at all. Fantastic stuff, nothing positive to say.

The new "interactive" style on my latest ACCA textbook is truly the worst update on any app I've ever experienced. The book won't load a page change without internet connection despite being downloaded on my device. You can select chapters from the menu. It gets confused on page layout and squishes paragraph numbers up or shows them on the wrong side of the page/randomly inserted into the text. It is truly truly abysmal.

The audio feautre has improved, but it is still off in pronunciation and reads off punctuation and references. Reader does play when the app is not open, but will randomly stop. The app used to have a feature where you could pause the audio without unlocking your device, but this has since disappeared. You now have to open the app to stop or start audio.

Useful to a point. Could expand its editing features on how pages can either be scrolled entirely, or be displayed page by page. Some books have the option, most don't. Other problem is the lack of clear direction in acquiring a QR code. It's not streamlined through the app, website, and software versions of Vitalsource. Each one should have the same functions and features of at least the account settings, rather than appearing to be built by different teams who did not communicate one another.

Unless I'm missing something this is just the browser in an app completely useless you can't read anything unless you zoom in the you need to zoom out again and swipe right to the next page. Like I said completely useless

I have the resource synched on two mobile devices. Unfortunately some of the information added to one device is not visible/accessible on the other. Additionally, I have yet to learn how to reorder my note cards. A recent experience saw cards being moved out of the required order and no option available to return them to the desired positions, as required.

I love having easy access to my school books. This app is great for taking notes, making flashcards, and highlighting. Some books have a feature where you can take a quiz on the section you read to see how well you remember it. I also enjoy the audio since I don't always have time to read through the chapters each week, though it does not always pronounce the words or names correctly.

I love how you can get it to read back to you and it highlights each word it reads. I don't love that you have to manually refresh it if you open the book you're reading on a different device. One time I ended up searching through pages and pages because when it refreshed, it took the device I had switched to (my laptop) which was on page 167, over my more recently read tablet, which was on page 395. Otherwise I would rate it 5 stars.
