This is the only app I have found that will block numbers by area code for you and I LOVE that. I get so many calls that are all different numbers but from the same area code and having the ability to do that is game changing. Scam callers don't always use the same phone number so blocking a single phone number can be useless-- you'll never hear from it again anyway! But they do use the same area codes. I get calls from Tennessee and California all the time. I don't know anybody in those states!

After using Calls Blacklist Pro for about a year I stand by my original review—this app does exactly what I want. Developer Feature Request: A glaring feature lacking is when I get a call from a number I don't know I'd like to be able to copy and search for the number quickly and easily. OG Review: I have been getting inundated with unwanted calls so I started looking for an app that would block all calls from anyone not in my contacts. Calls Blacklist gives me the control I was looking for.

I finally got this app because of relentless texts for donations however I haven't found a way for images to be texted to me without it blocking those texts as I have tested this with a few contacts. So either I enable SMS blocking and risk not getting messages from contacts when they send image files or just dont use this app for the primary reason why I bought it.

So far it's a very great app. With the other app I was using the other app that was supposed to provide the same services I still got unwanted phone calls when they were supposed to be blocked. I got all types of calls when they were supposed to be blocked. With this app it does what it's advertised to do. I just wish there was a section to put contacts' numbers so if they call they would be allowed through. Yeah, this app works that well. 💯🔥🌟

Three stars tentatively. I stopped using this app years ago after it stopped working and hadn't been updated in nearly two years. Now I see a recent update has finally happened. Since I paid for the Pro version, I am giving it another chance. We'll see. Update 1/30: working again and pretty well. 4 stars instead of 5 because it let one not in contacts call through this morning.

Good app for blocking a range of numbers around the number that called. I have cut down on annoying phone calls by 100% so far. If a new number is used within a new range, I will just block that range. Really happy. I no longer get bothered with spam callers. They have been blocked by the app, my phone does not even ring. I see in the app log that a spammer tried to call me. I have only used the phone number blocking part. I have not tried SMS blocking.

It has a conflict with certain versions of android forcing default etc. It would be better if you were able to send photos and.lonks also when your using it as your main texting app. The best thing about it is no ads. Re installed on my new phone..doesn't seem to block at all anymore. I put in specific area codes and pre fixes yet calls come thru and fill my voicemail daily. Deleting it...don't waste your money.

What a great app!! Set it up to block all calls not in my Contacts. They don't even ring, but are shown in a log if I choose to look. However the caller is given the opportunity to leave a message after the first ring and notications for the voicemail will work! This will get rid of all the spam calls that hang up without leaving a message (95%+) while allowing new numbers a way to contact me! Perfect!! Now I can pay attention again when my phone rings! Update: 2/20/2024 still working great!!
