I am rating the app, not the product (the product is great!). App could use a face lift. Maybe simplify ways to get to the control buttons. Also simplify the interface if you have multiple air purifiers. Right now you have to keep scrolling to find the one you want to control. Would be great if everything is on one dashboard.

The app is needed to control your Wi-Fi enabled air filter, but there's no option to turn off the advertising prompts. Every week another ad to buy another unit, sorry but I don't need 5 air filters per room. Update: the amount of time you can ignore ads in the app is down to three days. If I could give zero stars I would.

Absolute garbage. Still shows you ads and won't let you turn them off (except for a day) It's annoying to control multiple fans at once. Some modes you can flip through quickly, but not control. You can't do anything to control all your fans at once or set up groups. You can't even reset the filter timer using the app. The remaining filter time is calculated purely through uptime and ignores the fan speed

If you're buying this product hoping to have a nice app, don't buy this product. First off the app only has major metropolitan areas. I don't mean it skips minor rural towns. It only has major cities. Second the app warns you every time you open it that you should buy filters from their company. You have the ability to sneeze it for 3 days which is bizarre considering the filters are supposed to last 6 months to a year, meaning even if I buy them I still have to see the warning every 3 days

Terrible app. Read the other reviews. It signs you out every week and Tech Support refuses to fix it or even acknowledge it. Connecting devices is a pain and reconnecting after power outage is near impossible. Tech support said this was a known bug and I had to completely reset the purifier and re-register it in the app. Really?? Filter replacemant based on timer and not actual filter quality. Don't waste your time with this app. Use your purifier manually or return it if you need remote control

It works, the interface is nice but buggy, as you have to keep re login in. It would be ideal to have an option to set the auto mode with no sleep mode as this mode is useless in low light environments due to the extreme sensitivity of the light sensor. Sleep mode should be a separate "switch" in the app to turn on and off independently. Two years later, the app is exactly the same, with the same bugs.

It's a straight forward app. Please consider adding a timer function, and a function to turn off all the lights on the machine without it being on sleep mode. I like to run it at medium when I'm sleeping but i can't seem to turn the lights off like i can with my pro 5. I have the smart winix 4. The only thing is it logs you out every now and then.

Always logs me out of the app on my smartphone after a short period of not looking at the app. Also annoyed that there's no way to give your own custom name to the WINIX devices. I have many air purifiers spread throughout my home and I'd like to distinguish their location by the naming... The app doesn't let you do that... not very helpful. I've also asked for this feature twice ove the past year and get nothing but silence.
