Impossible to reconfigure a player. Menus load after an extended waiting period, and basic tasks are next to impossible to perform. I've been trying all morning to set up an additional Wi-Fi network on my child's Yoda player for when we travel, and I am in an infinite loop of unhelpful error messages. I've had to completely uninstall and reinstall this app multiple times just to restart the setup process. Typing in a Wi-Fi password wrong causes an entire setup processed to start.

I was under the assumption with the physical card in the player that it would work anywhere and that it was reading the card. Must have wifi at all times and does not work for planes and road trips as I had hoped. Had difficulty connecting it to different WiFi's through a trip and was unable to use it at all. Does work as expected with WiFi at home. Disappointed and probably would not purchase again now that I know it can't road trip.

The how tonuse guide is all verbal..I wish there was something to read, for adults. I was not paying a lick of attention...you know parenting and multi-tasking is fake. You can't give 100% to 2 different things. So I just winged it because I don't have time to listen to it, and honestly, a SILENT (instruction manual) is nice so kids don't run over to investigate the process. Other than that, I love it.

We are having so much trouble with our latest player and cards. The player will be playing but when I find it on the app it says it's offline. When we try to play certain cards it says we need Internet for the card. When ai try to connect the player it won't work. What is even worse, it is almost impossible to get tech support for this issue. I think the latest version has some major flaws.

Says yoto is offline despite obviously being online. Button play works and I can see that it is playing on the app, pause, and restart button play, but when I select a card on my phone, it refuses and says it's not connected. Unable to force disconnect, because it thinks it's not connected. This is not an issue with my network. I'm a network engineer. It's your device and app. EDIT: Glad this was fixed. Disappointed they implied it was the crowdstrike bug, but accepting responsibility is hard.

Room for improvement. A couple things I'd like to see is being able to download my library to my device. I like to play the cards in the car and hate having to use data every time. Or when we were on a cruise with no internet it was useless. I'd also like to be able to make sub groups on create your own cards similar to how store cards have track 2.4 etc. It would be nice if I could put multiple tracks into a create your own as well. An entire card for 1 sleep sounds etc is so limiting.

Honestly want to rate it higher but connecting this garbage hardware to WiFi is enough to make me want to throw it out a window. Genuinely takes 20 tries to connect, if that even works, this connection workflow is what nightmares are made of. Isn't it supposed to work without wifi? Cards won't read unless it's connected which is not the value prop sold. Honestly it'd be 1 star if my kid didn't use it daily.

The app often does this thing where it starts making the phone vibrate in a pattern, and the app dominates the phone. I can't close it without it reopening immediately, I can't do anything. It forces the app open, vibrates, and I just have to wait for almost a minute for it to finish. This happened three times after setup and I gave up and deleted the app.
