The goal of Read Scripture is that everyone would read the Bible for themselves and discover the truth and beauty of God’s Word.

To this end, we are curating a year-long Bible reading plan and supplementing the reading with amazingly creative videos (produced by our friends at the Bible Project) that explain every book of the Bible, major theological themes of the gospel, and tips on how to read the Bible.

We will house all of this content in a beautifully designed app that will be available to download in the App Store and on Google Play.

We encourage you to experience Read Scripture in community but it is set up so that you can go through it on your own.

I have read almost the entire Bible with this app. It's been life changing! I wish there was an option to switch it to chronological order. That's my next adventure in diving into the good word. Regardless, the Bible project team has done a wonderful job with the explanatory videos that have really helped me understand what I'm reading much better.

Excellent app...when it works. I have the pixel 8 and when I try to watch one of the included videos the app closes. Same thing happens if I try to rotate the screen when the app is open. Another annoying thing is what when I am able to watch a video, the phone still tries to go to sleep, unlike when watching videos anywhere else, so I have to tap the screen like every 15 seconds to keep it awake.

Great companion app for daily devotionals! The videos for each book and themes are excellent resources, providing background and context. My only complaint is that after my Galaxy s9 updated, the app only displays a blank screen. Reinstalling it doesn't seem to do anything, and none of my setting changes impacts it either.

I love this app! It helped me read through the entire Bible for the first time! I'm doing it again (a third way through) but the home page is completely blank now (on both phones). :( galaxy note 8 and 10 -Update: started working morning of 2/5/21. Thanks 😁👍 keep up the good work! and that issue would not prevent me from continuing to read the Word! But it is a great guide!

Outstanding tool to help a person systematically and realistically read through the Bible, along with excellent, short, and clear videos which clearly explain many of the key features of the book. This would be an excellent tool for the atheist, agnostic, other-faith believer, or Christian to more clearly understand the book, its meaning, its writers, and its "Executive Author".

I love this app and have been using it for 4 years recommending it to many people!! But it has not been working for about 3 weeks on my galaxy s21 phone I cannot open it although it still works fine on my iPad it is version 9.2.5. on the phone I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice but still have same problem!! Please advise

For some reason my app is no longer showing the reading information. The "Your Journey" screen is blank and doesn't allow me to click on the calendar. I can only select the settings icon. I even deleted the app and redownloaded it but I am having the same problem. Can someone offer me a solution? I was really enjoying the app before this. In the mean time is there somewhere I can view the schedule online?

This app works great on my phone but when it opens on my tablet (Lenovo yoga) there's blank white screen. I can go to settings, and see everything there though. UPDATE: apparently the app want working even on my phone; I think there was some temporally glitch. It took the team no time to fix it. I'm really happy with their work.
