I like it, just like Splendor. I can customize the games for longer play time, more entry fee and higher points to win, I like that. The problem, it crashes a lot. Keep losing my points, which ran out of sign up gold fast. Then I bought some so I could keep playing and keeps crashing so I am losing gold I actually paid for too. Keeps signing me out too. Not sure the problem, using on wifi. Crashes on phone and tablet. Please work out the bugs so I can keep playing!

Love this game but it crashes all the time! I've had the app for only a week and have lost close to 600 coins bc the app will freeze in the middle of my game and say the internet connection is weak. I don't have this problem on any other app or device ever. I've also tried to cancel when I'm waiting for the game to start and have still been charged / lost my coins even though I didn't play. Really unfortunate it's so glitchy and basically eats your coins...

Splendor is a great game and this app does a pretty good job duplicating that gameplay. But there are some fatal flaws - the biggest problem is lack of control over the time allowed per turn. 30 seconds makes you scramble so fast that it virtually eliminates any thought of strategy or planning. It turns a great chance/strategy game into almost purely a game of quickfire chance.

I love splendor, and like that I can play it for free, however this app is super annoying. On your turn it gives you 30 seconds to decide what to do, and if you take too long, or it freezes, you get NOTHING, your turn is just skipped. When it comes to purchasing cards, sometimes the screen freezes, so you cant click purchase, and your turn is skipped. And when you recieve a visiting noble card, it covers your entire screen so you cant see behind it to decide what to do until your turn again.

Fun game, but the game freezes mid play way too often. Please fix this. Update: 3-13-24 game is still freezing. Seems to freeze when you're close to winning. Updates have not really fixed this problem. Update 3-18-24 Lost all access to the game. Reinstalled the game, still couldn't login through my Google account. Update 3-19-24 The game is working, thank you Ephod team!

I disagree with lots of the reviews complaining about short timers. Splender is splendor, ephod is ephod. They require a different strategy and even some stuff is slightly different. If the timer was longer, you wouldn't be able to get quick games in. I do agree that it has been buggy from time to time, but it's been significantly improved. I love this game. The community challenges are also fun, although I really don't love the scoring of the current one when your ranked high. But still fun!

Awful. Laggy, buggy, and punishing on new players. The ads aren't the issue (unless they are what's making the app laggy, which is a possibility), rather it's that the game forces you to play online only, and any slight connection issue, causes the game to freeze or shut down completely. Add in the 30 sec turn limit, and you have a broken app. Better connection management, an offline mode where you play against bots, and doing away with the coin mechanic all together would yield a higher rating.

It's almost great, but it sometimes doesn't allow you to purchase cards when you have enough. It'll show as if you bought it and got the bonus cards, but then won't actually give you the cards. This takes the game from great, to unplayable, because when you spend the whole game building up to one thing, and you then can't do it for nothing less than a coding error, it's just a waste of time, nothing more.
