500 Firepaper provides a live wallpaper and a daydream showing you the latest images from /r/EarthPorn throughout the day.You never need to look at that boring old wallpaper again, or search for hours for a nice new one. This app will show you quality photographs from all over the world - different ones each day!

Configurable options include the refresh interval, brightness of the images, oversaturation, and blurring.
Please note that high resolution imagery and animation takes quite a bit of memory, so obviously this app is aimed at high-end devices.
If you are a Muzei user, 500 Firepaper also presents itself as an art source to Muzei.

What does buying Pro get me?

Why is there no save feature ?
Not allowed per API terms.
Three finger tap to go to the next image doesn't seem to work, what now ?
On some devices (like the HTC One) you need to put down your fingers one-by-one.
Why does this use so much RAM ?
High-resolution imagery takes a lot of memory in uncompressed form, and multiple buffers are required. But fear not, should your device need the memory while the wallpaper/daydream is not visible, the memory occupied by the app will automagically be released and repurposed.
Can the cached images be put somewhere else, like on my sd card ?
No, they cannot.

This used to be my favorite wallpaper app with so many amazing categories and really good automatic wallpaper changing functionality. Now it only has earthporn. Dev.. if you read this, massive respect to you for this app. But please, please bring more categories in the next update.. if there is going to be one. Old review: This is hands down the best wallpaper app in the playstore. Nothing beats it.

Want to switch to another reddit channel like r/cityporn. Maybe you can make it as a pro version feature. Also i am not sure if you can make it static wallpaper instead of live wallpaper, as the app wallpapers from google can switch wall papers daily and it does not use live wall paper. The major concern is live wall paper may use more battery.

Don't waste your time installing this app!!!! It's been 3 years since this app was updated, so obviously the developer has abandoned it. There are plenty of similar apps continously being perfected and updated. Install one of those apps unless you prefer older images which use outdated, under-performing technology...

I love this app but it appears most people don't read anything about an app before installing. Chainfire and 500px have had some disagreements in the past and it now appears they've killed his API key as he suspected they would so it no longer displays pictures. Maybe it was a mistake (as has happened in the past) maybe deliberate. I will leave it installed for a while yet to see which one. 500px are an org not to be trusted.

this app used to be five star. but since the change to reddit r eartporn as the only source of images the variety of images has been sorely reduced. before you had a multitude of categories to choose from now youre stuck with one. since theres been no update for almost a year i assume no fix to come which is why sadly i give it 1 star.

Really great content, but I have a small issue..... My launcher is set to blur the background when open appdrawer, Google feed and home screen options, but it doesn't work with this app..... Please fix this and 5 stars 😁

One of my favourite apps. Excellent excellent photos. Wish there was an Xmas category to top it off...edit. Not sure what's happened but somethings changed suddenly no images and just earthporn available... Not sure what's up but unistalled
