Was a great app until it started crashing on me. I even paid the $25 to be able to save multiple locations, but now every time I open it it crashes in seconds, even though I've uninstalled and reinstalled it multiple times. At first that helped but now it does not. :( What set off the crashing was tuning on the lawyers, but now it won't stay open long enough for me to turn them off.

I really like knowing what is happening in the areas around me, Watch Duty provides that. We have fires each year that surround the area, it is great to know what areas to avoid, and if friends and family are out of harms way. The app works great, it is not invasive, and it is not over complicated, simply a good reliable app!

This is a wonderful app & I really like it. I've used it for about 2 mos. now & it shows up-to-date & complete info about how to access services, evacuation, animal shelters, evacuation centers, etc. where to get additional info as to meetings, if you want to attend. This app is essential especially when I live in areas prone to fires. I will eventually become a member because I really appreciate all that they do in keeping us up-to-date w/current info. I feel safe having this app.

It presents a lot of data into a visual format clearly and flexibly to assess fires in emergency and historical situations. During the Park fire it kept me informed of affected areas and important evacuation warnings and orders. [Edit] However, with the 8.12.2024 update the app crashes upon launch. Reinstall and Clear Data didn't help (was a crash report was sent automatically?). It would help if alerts were selectable by one or more evacuation zones. Thank you!

I hadn't used the app in a while. I renewed my annual membership & reinstalled it on my phone. I was sorely disappointed to discover that the app has been "updated" so you can only put in specific addresses to monitor. If you enter a city, the app picks an arbitrary point in the center of the city. It does not show the boundary lines of the city, so you may as well enter a specific address. The option to select counties is no longer available, which renders the app useless for my purposes.

EXCELLENT. They have done a great job on this app. The membership is well worth the price. It has it all: Besides the (excellent) map, there is flight tracker (location of helicopters and fire planes in real time), wind speed and direction and the fire cameras. We were on an evacuation warning for the past 2 days and I was able to tell exactly what was going on. Thankfully, we are safe. Thank you!!

Definitely has great coverage. Unfortunately, if you live in one of the largest Counties, you are forced to either get notifications for the entire County or get none. Los Angeles County covers far too much geography for such level of notifications to be practical. It's ironic that the County is based on the GPS location and yet this app can't be bothered to use the GPS location to make alerts more helpful. If I can get less notifications from 100+ miles south of my location is give 5 stars.

Terrific reference for folks living in high fire incident areas! Up to the minute status updates and photos. As a resident in the Sierra foothills, this app is invaluable to me, I love it! No glitches, no problems working on my Samsung Andoid tablet. EDIT 9/2024 Even after uninstalling and reinstalling the app on my Android phone, it has stopped working properly. I can't see ANY fires, nor does it alert me to fires in my area. I can't figure it out. It works properly on my Android tablet, thoug
