App has become practically useless due to them heavily restricting nearly all functions behind a paywall. Not to mention that it tries to push irrelevant information from cities across the country when it's supposed to be a local app, and when it does show local incidents, it's either very old, outdated or behind, or simply doesn't get shown or posted. Such a shame. This app used to be amazing and reliable.

Trash. Inconsistent Alerts. I have premium version on Android & Free version on my iphone. Free version gives more relevant & frequent alert & more consistent. GPS is slow to update on paid version(droid). Not sure why that is. I should be getting better results off the paid version. As of now, I will not be renewing my subscription. For the price I'm not happy with it. Tech support is slow to respond. Have a ticket open for 3 mo. Still not update as of 9.23.2024

I've had the app for a while and used to love the alerts, real-time videos, chat, etc. At no cost. Info now blocked by subscription requests. Updated version has less info, confusing and not helpful. I am no longer receiving emergency alerts, current updates, or potential dangerous situations as noted in the app description. If i do, it is very limited. Seems info is now in the PROTECT subscription. Hoping this is just a bug and will be fixed in the very soon upcoming updated version.

App has gone downhill. Too much pressure to subscribe, and free features don't work reliably enough to instill confidence that premium would be any better. Location doesn't update consistently. Keeps giving alerts for things nowhere near where I am. When I open the app, I have to get through ads to subscribe and then can't find current, nearby incidents very easily.

This used to be a helpful app but now it's just constantly hammering you to upgrade, the way things are formatted doesn't make any sense. You can't find anything the notifications don't lead to the actual story. It's just a mess. It used to be an intuitive app where you can scroll through and see things in chronological order and see other people's videos of events etc. I don't know what it is now. Just demanding money for nothing that I can see.

This app used to be a great way to keep yourself safe and informed of what was happening around you. Now they force you to pay for premium if you want ANYTHING aside from the ability to see a recent happening (24hr ago or less). Once you click on the notification from your phone's pull down menu to view a recent entry, I hope you never want to go back to that specific alert again for any reason because you won't be able to. It RARELY actually shows up on the map for you to click on to revisit.

This app is extremely disappointing now. Everything is damn near behind a pay wall. The simple functions that we used to have don't even work now without a subscription. You basically open the app and just stare at a map of your area. That's it. Notifications stopped coming because they locked up the app behind paying. I can't even look at past events because again....subscription. Useless.

The brief notifications are insufficient and I'm not paying for premium. Location seems to also be only used effectively in premium version. Occasionally, I receive notifications for events that are 2,000 miles away - those aren't useful. There's one event that remains the second event on the list and it happened a year ago.
