[Edit 2025-02-28: I do not get errors anymore and it's not unbearable slow anymore. It's still slow though compared with the previous version. And needing to click explicitly to save your log is very unintuitive.] I like the update, but it's extremely slow and getting 50% of the attempts to log something an error (not all the same). Some of them are time-outs. Others are just plain errors. It's unbearable to log unfortunately.

It was okay a few months ago. CURRENTLY though it is terrible. since the update, it runs SUPER slow, takes a good few seconds to register a click and load a climb then another few seconds to register the top and then it has to load for a bit before you close it. (And heavens forbid you try to perform any action before it finished loading because then the app just breaks) So you easily spend about 10 seconds on average just trying to log a climb. This is the CORE function, horrible experience.

Update: Developer fixed all points below 🙏 17/10/24: Nice to see my local gym on it. I like seeing the French grades. UI is ok. Dashboard could be improved. "Last in, first out" doesn't bring anything useful. One big feature I'm really missing is a friends list. Would be awesome to have a tab to check out friends, see what they recently climbed and maybe a mini-competition with friends only. Now I have to search for them in the general ranking of the club, but that's quite a list.😅

Since the latest update, the overall user experience has really gone down: - Every action seems to take (relatively) forever. Compared to before, everything felt snappy and fast - Flashing/topping routes now requires conformation to save it - Un-rated routes are now displayed as a "2". I'm sorry, what? What was wrong with the question mark rating? - In order to see what other people rated routes, you now have to scroll down. But only if YOU'VE done it - No longer shows how many people done it

Recent update has made the app slow, unresponsive, and generally a much more miserable and unpleasant experience. I don't know what they did or why they did it but it had turned a great app I used every session into one I begrudgingly try to use at least once a week to track my climbs. Very disappointing person

Really like the app. Also like the new features with the new update. One criticism though: I can no longer see how many of the boulders that are currently in the gym I have climbed. I really liked this feature as it gives a good idea of how active i have been and its also a cool goal to work towards having climbed a lot of the boulders in a gym

Loved the app, but it became extremely slow after the new update. The UI became less intuitive and you need extra steps to log a boulder and check your stats. Not sure what the UX was thinking, but this is quite the downgrade in experience. Design is nicer though, but at the cost of everything else.

UX got worse since I last used it. The core functionality has become obnoxious. After tapping a boulder I have to wait a second to load the next screen, it used to be instantaneous. It makes me wonder if this update has even been tested.
