I love this ap and have been using it for several years for my endurance training. However, now it gets interrupted way too many times. Yesterday, for instance, it interrupted 6 times on a 12.5-mile ride. I'm a Premium member, so this is extremely frustrating. I noticed that if I use my camera, it interrupts the ride. Before, it would interrupt if I took a video, and now it interrupts even if I take a picture. I have a Samsung 14. I've read the instructions on how to prevent this, but still.

Have to pay to use now, when I originally downloaded it I could have 2 horses for free before it asked for a subscription. Now I can only have one and can't do challenges at all unless I pay for the app. Horses are expensive enough without having to pay just to track rides Update-now there's even more things behind the pay wall! This app is no longer of any use without paying and it doesn't track well enough to justify the price they want. Moving to a different app

I love the app for tracking the length and distance of my rides. However, the sensitivity is off for my pony's gaits, so I never get an accurate summary of my ride. He's 13.2hh and gaited, so our trots/canters look a lot different than say a 16hh warmblood. I just wish there was some setting or sensitivity adjustments I could make to accommodate my pony.

CRASHING. I've used equilab for years and in the last 6 months the app has started crashing and canceling my rides. I pay for premium! Safety tracking is useless if it's going to kick me off a mile into a 10 mile ride, and I ride out solo regularly. Seems to be if we pause to graze, or rest for a minute. Extremely disappointed in it recently and actively looking for a better app. Everything else is great, but can't get past the basics not working.

Glitching has gotten frustrating. I like the app and would pay for premium if I didn't have to constantly wait for it to either unfreeze itself or crash. Maps constantly freeze, editing entries freezes. In addition, if you don't save before the app closes (usually from a crash) the entire ride disappears. They will even send a notification that you have an unsaved ride, then when you follow the link to save the ride, it's gone. Fix the bugs and I'll consider paying.

It's a fantastic app that provides buttloads of data. Basic data is self-explanatory but there is plenty of data that leaves you guessing exactly what it means. For example, under Gaits it lists the miles (or kilometers, depending on your settings) for each gait and a speed for each gait. Question: Is the speed the TOP speed for that gait or the AVERAGE speed for that gait? It measured expended measure "horse energy" in "MJ"s. What is an MJ unit? But it provides clean data that is important to the rider, such as total distance and average speed. I've seen videos on earlier versions of the app and they have come a looooooooooong way! Overall the app is fantastic. The paid version offers even more stats and data and an emergency tracking system should you have an accident while alone. It feel it is too pricy to be honest. The premium version is $9.99/month, $49.99/6 months and $79.99/year. I would pay up to $50/year but that's about it. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this app for anyone who is serious about tracking their riding experiences and using the data for riding improvements! If it weren't for the price, I'd give it a 5-Star review!

I love the tracking feature of the app, but have become disappointed since you can no longer add additional horses (limited to one horse) unless paying the $12.99 monthly subscription. I could see there being a small fee associated, but not full subscription just for additional horses when you have no intention of using the other features unlocked with subscription.

This app is pretty alright! I don't have the premium version, but it seems okay. I haven't tried riding with it yet, and it seems to have a lot of cool features, but I have one complaint. There's not many options for groundwork training. Right now, I am purely doing groundwork with my horse. I can kinda figure out some way to still keep a record for myself, but I really wish it had more options for that. I'll be exploring other apps to see if they have what I want. :/
