As others noted, unable to reliably connect to camera wifi. It did appear to be a conflict with my Android Auto as it would disconnect or prevent wifi connection between my Samsung phone and the dashcam . Shutting off Android Auto in my phone was not effective as the car immediately relaunched a connection. Shutting off Android Auto in the Lexus screen worked and allowed my phone to finally achieve a stable connection. I suspect the same might apply with Apple Car Play.

4 stars for the app & dashcam which work very well after connection is successful. -1 star for the poor instructions. As a previous review by Seth Halstead (please read) has stated, it is NOT intuitive to connect to your smartphone. You actually have to read the instructions to connect, following them precisely. The very short explanation and instructions in the Quick Start Guide for the dashcam helped too.

Yesterday the dealer told me to install this app. I did but the app keeps crashing upon opening. App gives message that the app has a bug and to try again later when the app is updated. 😞 Based on reviews by others looks like the app had been a problem for a while!

It works, but it's a little unintuitive on how to make it work. The on-screen instructions are very small, but you need to follow them exactly using the DCIM folder specifically. It will prompt you for a password to connect, which it provides the default password on the instructions, but then it asks you to change the password. After you change the password, it will disconnect you, and to reconnect, you must use the new password you set. Once you do that, it works fine.

It will not connect to the dashcam (as others have reported). Is there a fix? I don't want to have paid for a camera I can't use. UPDATE--never has connected in 3 months and support never reached out with a fix.

Total garbage don't even work on the latest phone, paid over one k for the stupid cam and not working properly.

Has anyone figured this out? Even the dealership where I bought my Lexus couldn't figure it out.
