West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited hereafter referred as (WBSEDCL) has published its very own mobile application for better consumer services through android mobiles, PDA, Tabs and other hand-held devices with proper data connectivity. Just sign up with your mobile number and enjoy the services. Once you register , you stay connected with us for a seamless service experience.The major services those are going live are-
Bill View:
Both monthly and quarterly consumers can view their current bill information from this application .They can also view and download the bill in PDF format.
Payment: Payment through mobile has been integrated.
New Application:
Intending domestic,commercial and industrial consumers can apply through app and pay their generated quotation amount.
New Application Status:
Customers who are willing to have any new connection or load enhancement can see their status from this menu.
Register Complaint:
Existing customers can lodge complain as well as check complain status regarding various technical problems like No power,High Voltage,meter burnt,meter stopped etc. They can also lodge complain regarding the non-technical problems like High bill,Average bill etc.
History:
Consumers can see their electricity consumption history in graphical format. Also consumer can see last five registered complaint details.They can also check payment history other than cash desk.
My Profile:
Consumers can see their registered personal information like address, mobile number, email id, meter number, installation number, contract load, tariff code etc through this menu.
Settings:
Consumers can set their preferred language like Hindi,English or Bengali. They can also change their mobile numbers and delete wrongly entered consumer id from the tags consumer's list.

Data synchronisation problem. I have already paid bill amount. It almost 24 hours, but still showing bill amount not paid. Not only that, there are lots of UI problems and not user friendly. Very bad design, looking like web view. The most bad thing is the capta verification every time. 😛Hi development team, you need move in to new things...

App works but paid bill list and failed/unsuccessful payment list doesn't get updated. Recently app showed error in payment though it was successful when checked from website. Edit: Changed my review from 3stars to 1star as this app doesn't let you pay on the last due date and charges fine deliberately. Such a poor app saying 'Hostname Mismatch' after I select one payment method on either of the payment gateways.

Need to improve alot. First please change the UI. Its pretty bad. Its very difficult to read the information on such a background. 2nd, there are lot of error happening and in the error message it is showing the error coming from the database. Need to clear that. Also when error is happening, have to kill the app and then restart. Which is problematic. Please work on these issues. Update: no place to see full Customer details in the app. Also not showing deposited amount.

the developer is the worst gpa getting student from University. No knowledge of graphic designing UI UX designing. Just made the app. Doesn't even care of buttons and the text are visible or not. The payment status doesn't update on the backend. and after the payment you have to wait few days until it shows up in the successful payment list. Thank you I will pay the money from my phonepe app.

The App is not upto the mark. You just can pay your current bill and that's all, never try to get any information about your previous payment... trust me , you get confused. It shows random selection of your last 5 years bill, I don't know where the other bills gone...in my case it doesn't show any information after January 23... Developer must be look after the matter.

While trying to payment via UPI ID. Gpay is telling cannot complete this transaction for some security threat and our safety. Same thing happened 2 times. And the payment interface is also changed. After that this is happening. Check this.

If there is zero I would select that. It's the worst app I have ever seen. I paid last few electric bills through this app but today I found their all status failed. Don't know why...though all charges were deducted from account. Even today I paid two months bill, amount has been deducted from my account yet is is showing that bill is unpaid. Guys you all are advised not to use this app in bill payment purpose.

The app was good. But, for some serious technical issues, I am giving two starts only. Even after payment of my last bill (April-June, 2021), no receipt was generated, no email of confirmation came. When I informed the issue via email, no reply was given. History of successful transactions shows only the transactions of 2016-2017. What is this? Pending transactions reflect many successful transactions. People will remain confused. Any proper legal step will create troubles for the department.
