The windows desktop application seems to work well, however this Android version crashes when accessing my vault via QR or via the long passphrase, I have tried both stable and beta, un/reinstalled, no joy. Update on 08/11/24 : tried again having seen another overnight update, typed in the long passphrase and it still crashes, no support or interest in the issue, so despite it looking promising on windows it's time for me to move on. Star dropped for support

I like Anytype for it's e2ee and that I can backup my data. What hold me back is that there is no landscape mode for mobile devices like my tab s8 which I use like a laptop. Also I would love to see reminders added as well as the ability to backup my notes from my mobile device and not just my computer.

It is an excellent app, especially for organizing projects. The only things it needs are inline image gallery, font-size changes, and a sort for non-ordered lists and toggle lists if placed next to each other without return spaces. Then it would be perfect in my eyes.

I have been searching for a good note-taking app for a long long time, there's many great alternatives and I have tried all of them but all I ended up is anytype, definitely greastest app ever! This app got every features that I need! the widgets screen is also very interesting!

Much better than alternatives. Still rage-inducing. While a cursor is in code blocks, it is sent to the beginning of the code block every few seconds, making it impossible to write code snippets. The same can happen with any paragraph, though at a reduced rate. Happens both while being offline and online. No Mermaid support on mobile, even no static display of charts made on PC. No way to eject an item inside a list to be outside and below of it if this list is the last element of the document.

Very similar to Notion but with simpler flow and of course with privacy top of mind. I really like the main home space having a widget like layout. Makes getting to all my notes easier. I do wish the hit box for checkboxes was bigger. Tapping them with your thumb is very hard even though I have smaller hands.

I was about to build the same app from scratch until I finally found what I was looking for. An object-oriented pkm. Suggestions: I think there is a bug on android? When clicking to edit a type I can only edit its name, through the library. I can only edit the type if I go to some random file and try to add a property/relationship there. It's also really dificult to apply a template to a file, sometimes the option doesn't show up, it depends on the way I set the note type. I see potential.
