AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID DO NO DOWNLOAD YOUR PHONE WILL GET BRICKED. The idea is good but after install, my phone had a continuous blue screen that never went away. Support couldn't help, they tried. They did deactivate my account. I had to restart my phone and quickly delete it before the operating system for the app kicked in

As it stands, I cannot possibly recommend this application to anybody. If you install this app with an always on VPN enabled it will instantly brick your phone, and support will be unable to help you. This is an absolutely massive oversight that they haven't fixed for weeks. In my case, I tried to transfer the device profile to another phone and that only caused the app to display a "DEVICE NOT MATCH" screen. Support said that there is nothing that can be done despite having backend. Avoid.

They claim it doesn't slow down your connection, some days it's good some days it's very bad. Most of the time it works but there are sometimes when you just can't get your Internet to go fast enough to even be functional, turn off the canopy VPN and everything works great

I really wish I could say I love this app, but my phone is acting all screwy since I installed it. Internet buffers non-stop and says I have no internet connection even when I'm in my own home. Some apps don't work anymore. I tried to open the Google Play Store to uninstall and reinstall it to see if that would fix it but the store wouldn't even open. I'm about ready to just uninstall it and cancel my account and try to quit viewing "inappropriate material" on my own... again.

Crashes phone. I tried it out on my phone before installing it on the device that actually needs it. I loved the idea, I just wish it actually worked and made the phone still function too.

Slows down phone drasticaly DONT DOWNLOAD!! Randomly bans apps even when admin approves them and will reban after you unban. Terrible program, obtrusive app and you can't close its tab.

It is trash and it is awful and it should never be a thing because it restricts everything and my phone isn't even a phone anymore it's basically just a flip phone because I can barely access the internet a virus also got installed onto my phone when I downloaded it and it made my phone turn black and I had to pay a lot of money to get it fixed.

It needs improvement (badly) as of right now (07-05-2024) in many ways, but the Canopy support team is always friendly, helpful, and supportive whenever I call them, and at least you get to talk to a real person immediately instead of a machine for 15 mins just to get to a real person. Then, on every occasion, they have worked hard to solve my problems until they are resolved. I highly recommend Canopy for this reason. Here's to hoping that someday they will work out all the kinks for 5 stars!
