This is a very useful app to have for sports teams, it allows you to send messages, view practice times, communicate with your coaches and players and keep track of live scores from teams. However, it is incredibly glitchy and terribly programmed. The individual message feature is completely useless for me, I get notifications of the messages on my email. When I open the teamsnap app they do not load at all under any circumstances. Messages and notifications are routinely delayed by days .

Schedule feature is great at seeing what's coming up. But chat feature is completely blank since the October update. I get notifications of chats and replies, and can see the person who replied, but when I click to read what they said, it's a blank screen. Same with emails. No option to reply to a team email the coach is asking for a reply to.

So frustrating. I have used teamsnap for a while and have multiple teams on my account. One team in particular, suddenly has two team chats. One that can only be accessed from the notification drop down. The other chat is accessed from the app itself. It's extremely annoying. The messages from the notification drop down cannot be accessed from the app, so they're just hidden until a new message is sent. I reached out but was only told they would work on it. Nothing.

I appreciate that some basic functions are free, but it's pretty buggy and laggy as a whole. The second to last update broke the ability to click on an event from the home screen. Instead you have to now go through the schedule (and the most recent update hasn't fixed it). It has to reload data every time you launch the app. It's pretty shocking that it doesn't do some basic caching of previous data.

The app works sometimes. My team chat always shows "No Messages" but when I get a notification of a new message and I click on it, it shows the full history. Leaving the chat and going back in results in No Messages. Support was no help. Told me that the issue would be fixed in the next update. The update still doesn't fix the problem. I now get notifications for a team chat that I cannot get to through the UI.

So many issues with this app: 1. Constantly can't see chats or games. Several clicks to bring up the game or just won't work. 2. Calendar integration is always hours if not day behind. I update a attending status to going to the game but doesn't update the calendar in Google for DAYS. One time it worked within 2 hours but every other time I am waiting 48 hours before it shows on the Google Calendar. 3. App has so many ads it's hard to use

Trash app. I have the same problem as Michael below. I'm on Android and it downloads the app, but no messages show up in chat. The coach was even able to send a message to me, which I only received via email, which then prompts me to open the app. When I open the app it shows nothing. I've gone round and round with support & still nothing.

Maybe it's just an android thing, but I don't get the alerts or emails that are posted to the team. My wife, that uses an apple, gets them all... I have un-installed, re-installed, cleared cache etc... says I have 5 new messages, when I don't have any... the pop up ads come up after every touch of the screen! Just annoying. Will be pushing for our team to use a more useful, reliable app.
