The moon and a bright planet may be convenient as a guide to find the comet though they have large apparent motion, too.

This app determines where Comet is in the sky when it becomes visible at your observing site. You can easily start your observation of a Comet by using Comet Book as a guide to the direction and elevation of the comet.

In addition, the new “3D Solar System seen from Space” mode allows you to view the motion of Comets and planets turning around the sun. Please take a look the comet’s movement around our solar system.

Website link under "Developer contact" in Google Play is broken. No reply to email link after 48 hours. Using the "Contact Us" in the app (buried at the bottom of the Support Page found from the Help menu) is tedious at best. Not worth the effort to use only to find that it doesn't work (confidence is not high that it will). The real problem is: the app is only showing two comets (neither of which are currently visible). And I cannot figure out how to add/update the comet information.

The time is off by an hour in July at NYC. On Android version, but it is fine on iPhone version. If i look at location of the sun, the app shows it's below the horizon, however the sun doesn't set for another hour. Probably the app didn't take account of daylight savings time. I have to move the time in the app back one hour for accurate, current locations of objects in the sky.

Really cool application. I'm trying to figure out where comet Neowise will be in relation to my location and it's visible times. Great help for photography. The only problem is when using the drag bar to set day the app crashed and I ended up back on my home screen. It did this several times, but once I had the day set it seemed stable. Hope this feedback can help the Developer correct this problem. I'm running Honor View 10 Android 8.1..... Thanks Dev, Great app....

Has a lot of potential however, it and inaccurate prediction of where the comment is, possibly because it may not compensate for where on the earth the user is or for the local time zone. Yeah but gives one location I went through a website and it gave me another location, and it was only when I checked the website that I was able to locate the comet. The way the app is structured is great and the display is great, so it has potential however this is a critical problem that needs to be fixed

Just got back from taking pictures of Neowise. If I listened to this app, I would have missed it completely. The app said it would fall below the horizon around 9:30 pm. Couldn't be more wrong. That didn't happen until almost 11 PM. No point in usuing an app that isn't accurate.

Really like this Comet Book. Took a little while but found how to fine tune the time setting. Simply tap the word TIME and two arrows appear. No need to drag the time bar. Tap the up arrow to advance time slowly. The same for advancing days forward and back. Wonderfull, thanks VIXON.

Could be a great little app, but unfortunately and incomprehensibly the horizon is fixed to ~ 36 ° N, so altitude (elevation) value and horizon line only work for Tokyo (where the author lives) and other locations at this circle of latitude, but not for the rest of the world. Please fix this!
