This system was installed in my NYC building over about 2 years ago. They need to tweak the software coz as of lately I am experiencing an issue. And that is the Carson app just hangs or does not open. And of course it happens when someone is ringing your bell. Most of the times I just reboot the phone and 99% of the time it solves the problem. But there are times when it just won't respond and then I have to unistall/reinstall. And that's why I'm writing this review. Fed up.

It takes a long time to open up the camera, and it takes a long time to open the door Everything about this app is slow

We've had Carson for a couple of years now. It is almost entirely worthless. I have conpletely given up in being able to let anyone in. Forget about emergency situations. Would not recommend. Avoid.

The app is simple and straightforward to use - exactly what I want from an app like this. Could be a touch faster to open but not too bad. One small request that would drastically improve this app: a widget that would open the door on one tap. It's my most common action and it would eliminate the slowest step of opening my door.

Love this app & the customer service of this company! We use Carson in multiple bldgs we manage. Beyond a 24hr doorman, it allows all tenant repair requests to be organized in one app (vs jumbled w/other emails) & allows direct response from maintenance and/or mgmt as needed. The front door service & video feed are great. The customer service is even better. They are quick to respond (often letting us know of bldg issues 1st), take the time to fully answer ?s, & even consider app suggestions!

Deep links into the app are broken on Pixel 6, which is a problem, because deep links are required to create an account, to set a phone number, to change password, etc. There isn't a resident-specific web app for Carson either, so there isn't a clear workaround, other than getting help from building management.

It used to work great.. now when I get a notification on my Android, and I select to let them in, the accept call button doesn't work. Says there's an error code 31404. Hope they fixed the bug now.

No idea what happened to this app - it used to work great. Now when someone buzzes me and I click on the notification, it kicks me out of the app, so I have to round back to the app and go to the live feed THEN let them in. Immensely frustrating.
